Hotel Sai Sahavas, Shirdi, 23 March, 2012 - On 13th March 2012, the Shirdi Sai Sansthan the governing body of the famous Sai Baba temple at Shirdi in Ahmednagar district was disbanded by an order of Aurangabad Bench of Bombay High Court.

On 13th March 2012, Bombay High Court disbanded Sai Sansthan Trust. According to orders of Aurangabad Bench of Bombay High Court, the Shirdi Sai Sansthan Trust was disbanded. This news was unbelievable and shocking because the trust was looking after every aspect of Shirdi Sai Baba temple and other temples attached to it since a long period.

Chavadi in Shirdi conveys lot of importance to Sai devotees. This Chavadi originally was a place for conducting village meetings, acted as an office for storing village records and even it was used as a court where village disputes were settled by the heads of the village. Read more here.
