I have few questions in my mind. I would feel happy if someone can answer them since i dont know any experienced professional in hospitality Technology. My email id is rohit.mozotek@gmail.com
1) Hospitality is really looking for a solution which can cut the cost. if yes then can we remove waiter with any other solution? 2) We enhanced the way of ordering through tablets, kiosks etc but what about serving and waste handling? 3) waiter serve our guest inside their hotel's room or in between their meeting. Is it really disturbs the privacy of guest? if yes then do we have any solution? 4) Are we ready to convert traditional manual hospitality into a hi-tech self operating system like a computer? Thank you for your views on my questions. I agree that technology is playing a big role in service environments as well as we cannot remove waiters completely from full service restaurant concept. I would like to add few concepts in it. What about those self-service restaurants and QSR where people generally stand in queues or those places where customers wait for the waiters. Customers come in a restaurant in their different mood and purpose for example some customers want to relax and they like to served by a waiter but what about those who arranged some business meeting or for a personal talk. If we can add technology as an option in ordering service via touch screen pad's and different options for food then why we cannot give an option in serving and waste handling to our customers? Like a bank give us two options to withdraw our money, Either go to bank, stand in queue and withdraw the money manually OR go to an ATM and withdraw your money in few seconds. We can give an option to our customers for serving and waste handling, Either service can be through waiter or by automatic machines which are invisible and service on table would be automatic without any change/disturbing the rest environment. I got achievements for this technology from Harvard Business School as i gave the perfect solution of 'Benihana Case' with high efficiency and low labor cost with a new concept of technology for hospitality sector including restaurant, hotels, offices, home etc.
