  A property management system is the way a hotel manages reservations, billing, housekeeping, and all reporting for virtually any type of property. The link provided is that of the first property management system to ever surface the hotel industry and the first to ever be used until now. Attached i provided two links, one on what exactly a property management system is and what it does, and the other, explaining how opera operates and why it is so great and why hotel operations still use the system till this day.
