Event planning may seem like it's easy, but it takes a lot of work. In the article, it gives four points of view of how event planning is defined. The industry view explains that it can be a convention, meeting, ceremony, or etc. Each of these events includes specific aspects that makes the event. These aspects are budgeting, venue, food, transportation, timelines, and putting together activities. As it is broken down, we gain a better understanding of how much work goes into planning. It is much more than the finished product. It is days, weeks, months, or sometimes even years of planning and making sure everything is fulfilled. Sometimes things happen and as a planner you must improvise. This article really opened my eyes to how much goes into events.
