  Connectivity in the hotel industry is the ability to connect a global distribution system and a hotel reservation system. This will allow the transactions of business to take place more efficient and reservations to be done more quickly. The ability to connect globally allows businesses to operate in areas where they may not have otherwise done so. GDS provides economic boost world wide.
