  While booking a hotel and flight together from an agent is attractive one touch service is becoming more apparent now a days with the use of technology. I still say there is a need for both and they both play different roles. I can see more specialized vacations being handled by agents however a quick flight to New York can be a zinch to book on a site like Expedia without resorting to the agent.
