It would be justified to say that IPL has become the new destination for everything entertainment. An IPL match has all of the ingredients required for a Bollywood blockbuster, viz. drama, suspense, emotion, and, obviously, entertainment. The very first match of the tournament, to become played between Kolkata Knight Riders, the defending champions, and Delhi Daredevils, in the Eden Gardens, Kolkata, on Wednesday, 3 April 2013, is going to be preceded by the grandest sporting celebration that India has seen. The Pepsi IPL 2013 Opening ceremony, to become held at 7:30 pm (IST) , 2 April 2013, at the Salt Lake Stadium in Kolkata, one of the largest football arenas in Asia, will feature flying drummers, Chinese percussionists, awesome fireworks, plus some of the biggest film-stars in the country, including Shah Rukh Khan, the country's foremost Superstar.
