St Luke's Catholic Church, located in Buranda Queensland, called in Remedial after noticing structural issues which were affecting the bell tower of the church. Upon inspection, Remedial discovered that years of exposure to the elements had allowed water ingress, causing concrete cancer to spread and deteriorate the structural integrity of the building. It was apparent that immediate rectification works were required to strengthen the weakened structure which was being worsened by water which was leaking inside the building when it rained.

For over 40 years, Remedial have specialised in the application of flooring solutions for commercial application. Today, our commitment to commercial flooring solutions is as strong as ever.

Almost 5 years ago, Remedial were engaged to prepare a flooring surface at Beak & Johnston in a food preparation area. With the floor having withstood the test of not only time, but food stuffs, cleaning materials and general foot and machine traffic, we were called back in late 2017 to help prepare the floors of two newly constructed food preparation areas measuring 500m2 and 650m2 respectively.

Located in Bombaderry, Remedial have had the pleasure of working for the Manildra group on a few occassions, laying new flooring solutions which are capable of withstanding the harsh chemical environment found in a food manufacturing plant - inclusive of cleaning chemicals, and the harsh natural acids found in sugars and fats.

In July 2017, a leading food manufacturer called on the expertise of the Remedial team to apply protective coatings to the columns, walls and ceilings of one of their key plantrooms. Measuring some 500m2, and with 100m2 of walling surface and 32 columns, 4700mm high, the task ahead was significant, especially as the client was only allowing the room to be closed for a total of 10 days.

The Wondakiah Apartments, located on Sydney's Lower North Shore, required extensive rectification work to remedy waterproofing issues, implement required fire safety upgrades and repair cavity walls within the units.
