Ingredients:
6 Tomatoes (Chopped for about 4 cups )
1 Carrot (Chopped for about ¼ of the cup)
1 Celery Stick (Roughly chopped)
1 Tablespoon of Oil or Butter
½ Tbsp Salt
½ Tbsp Sugar
½ Tbsp Pepper or as per your taste
½-Inch Ginger (Finely chopped)
Seasoning :
1 Tbsp Butter or Oil
½ Tbsp Jeera (Cumin Seeds)
Pinch of Asafetida
One sprig of Coriander leaves (finely chopped)
Making:
Heat 1 Tbsp of Butter or Oil in a heavy bottomed pan
Add the ginger, celery and sauté till it gets golden brown
Add the tomatoes with salt, pepper, and sugar. Cook till they get soft
Now let this mixture to cool down and then purée it in a blender
In the same pan, add a little oil or butter and add the jeera. When it gets done add the coriander leaves, to this add the blended puree
Add the needed amount of water and let it boil
When it's boiling, keep the flam in low and let it simmer for a while
Switch off the stove, garnish it with deep fried bread!
