  I wanted to share my experience and ask if anybody has experienced the same thing. Last week my hot water system was making a very strange sound! I called the Adelaide plumber I have been using for years, Pett Plumbing and Gas. They came quite quickly actually. Their website www.pettplumbing.com.au also says they back their labour with a guarantee. I forgot about that so when I saw it I called them straight away.
  
  They were the third plumber on the list when I searched for a plumber in Unley.
  
  They said that when the hot water system was originally installed, the plumber had installed a non compliant form of isolation valve that was causing the noise in the plumbing system. They were great if anyone was looking for a good hot water repairs plumber
