A varied collection which is not well organised for searching for digital resources, however if you're willing to spend some time looking around you'll find WWI propaganda posters, artworks and other useful historical sources.

Documents Related to the History of International Relations, prior to 1914 - 1 views

  •
A comprehensive list of links to documents on all periods of history, mainly focussed on the West. Seeings this links to all sorts of sites there will probably be a few dead links but it purports to link to documents and is maintained out of a university so should be useful for research and study.

Great for primary sources on British history. They also have an active programme to connect with history teachers and have plenty of resources specifically for school history.

Stuff You Missed in History Class - The Blogs at HowStuffWorks - 1 views

  •
This is the blog which accompanies the podcast Stuff You Missed in History Class. Like just about all History podcasts, it's easily found through iTunes. My students have found the format on SYMIHC as user-friendly and valuable for their research. Worth a listen.

Martin Luther . Classroom Resources . Lesson One | PBS - 18 views

This lesson is awesome! It aligns to 3 NCSS Standards- #3, 5, 6. Students will watch a clip from the PBS special "Martin Luther: Reluctant Revolutionary," filling in a Viewing Chart (included). Afterward students write an essay. As an extension of the lesson, students interview an adult, asking how their enviornment and social issues of the time influenced their life and decisions.

Digital Collections at Columbia - 1 views

  •
An excellent set of digital source collections run by Columbia Uni. I've been meaning to save all these collections individually but it's such a massive task that I'm just saving the root pages of the collections. If you have a look through these you'll find some gems. And if you save them to the group you will have my undying affection (just please use the same tagging standards - it keeps the information findable).
