History for Middle School

I teach 6th grade history. The four topics I cover over the course of the year are 1. The Constitutional Convention, 2. The Lewis and Clark Expedition, 3. Westward Expansion, and 4. The Civil War. I am working on a collection of resources and ideas for exciting ways to teach history and for specific ideas for teaching each unit.
