This article is focused on ways to prevent crime in Washington DC. Often times, the police will focus on one spot in Washington DC where the crimes happen the most. However, this entry suggests spreading out the enforcement in multiple places. It also suggests that we need to get the community involved, which I completely agree with. The people that live there could make it a much better place if they are cautious and caring towards the rest of their community.

This journal focuses on how there were a lot of changes that were enforced after the 2001 terrorist attack. This makes sense because obviously if something like this happened, changes need to be made so it doesn't happen again. This journal also suggests that we should try the terrorist level attack plan in other cities other than just the Metropolitan DC area.

What can police do to reduce crime, disorder and fear? The title of this journal seems like it will be really helpful for my research. This journal tells us about the effectiveness on reducing crime. If crime is reduced, then so will the stress and fear in other people. There have been a lot of changes in the past decade so this journal suggests we keep looking, because we are almost there.
