Anna Sayers on 19 Nov 09The last line always confused me because I always thought it contradicted the, "Call it a day, I wish they might have said" line that occurs earlier in the poem, yet when I look at it now, I realize that he's referring to the workingmen continuing going about their day. This last line illustrates the "show must go on" attitude of business.
