Wanted to share a US History blog of a Twitter "friend" of mine from Cary Academy in NC. (I have actually met her in person so I feel like can use the term friend) This is a blended learning class (1/2 classroom instruction and 1/2 online)  Some of her projects remind me of the types of projects in the 7th grade curriculum.

Watched Lexington & Concord; what fun. This makes an appreciation for the role of geography in battle very visible. Hope they get to D Day soon. Used to have a mock Civil War battle on a map w/ students; this would be great to be able to utilize.
