Immunoassay instrument is gaining rapid adoption in the gene-based analysis especially ... - 0 views

  •
Immunoassays, or DNA assays, are a method of DNA analysis. DNA is the basis of all biological material, including the DNA of living organisms, cells, and tissues. This method can be used to analyze, identify, and profile various biological samples. The analysis of DNA has developed greatly over the years, due to the ability to conduct DNA tests on living people. The use of immunoassays for gene-based analysis has grown tremendously. Primarily, immunoassay analysis is used to evaluate gene-based treatments in oncology, cardiovascular, orthopedics, infectious diseases, and clinical diagnostics. Currently, the primary uses of immunoassays are for the evaluation of gene-based therapies in oncology and cardiovascular clinical trials. The analysis and measurement of immune parameters by immunoassay instruments are known as response curve analysis (RCA). The first analysis of RCA was done by Ward and coworkers in 1980, using monoclonal antibodies to stimulate the lymphocytes Subsequent immunoassay measurement models and systems have been developed to extend the scope of research and to make immunoassay measurement more cost-effective. Asia-Pacific Oncology Molecular Diagnostics Market Revenue Growth, Key Players, Qualita... - 0 views

  •
Molecular diagnosis is a method used to identify a disease at the molecular level, such as proteins, DNA, and RNA, in a tissue or fluid. Various tools are used to detect specific sequences of DNA or RNA that may or may not be associated with the disease such as single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP), deletions, rearrangements, and insertions, which are used for diagnosis and prediction of various infectious diseases, cancer, and other genetic disorders.

Digital genome - a powerful tool for collecting genetic data! - 0 views

  •
The digital genome consists of a complete digital collection of DNA material that occurs within an organism or a cell. It's a simpler method to collect genetic data concerning hereditary disorders and is used extensively by geneticists for a closer look at potential genetic illnesses. It was first intended to be a tool of diagnosis but has evolved into a powerful research tool. The growing popularity of the human genome projects is a prime factor fueling the growth of the digital genome market. According to Forbes, by 2025, it's projected that 100 million genomes will be sequenced. Increasing funding for genomics is another major factor in augmenting market growth. Moreover, growing development in the field of biotechnology due to rising healthcare needs and increasing investment by the government is again driving the market growth. Additionally, the growing demand for personalized medicines coupled with the penetration of new players and start-ups across developing economies is also projected to foster market growth. Furthermore, the increasing prevalence of chronic disease is further projected to propel the growth of the digital genome market. Rapid Growth on Adenovirus Diagnostic Testing Market 2021: Industry Size, Share, Growth... - 0 views

  •
Adenovirus diagnostic testing is the most widely used method for determining the presence of adenoviruses in a culture of healthy volunteers and is adapted from the polymerase chain reaction (PCR) method: a procedure by which DNA strands are broken down into smaller pieces, and then are subjected to amplification reactions with adenoviruses. Because adenoviruses do not copy themselves but rather undergo multiple copied copies during viral replication, several different sequences of adenoviruses will be identified by PCRs. If a suitable sequence is detected, it will be amplified and the resulting product isolated. In the case of patients suspected of having adenovirus, the adenovirus diagnostic testing is done by a polymerase chain reaction (PCR) test that can be performed on the patients' blood samples. Adenoviruses that have been identified by PCR will be identified by the confirmation of specific antibodies against the virus. These specific antibodies will react against the viral copies on the strain of adenovirus in the blood samples and will provide an accurate diagnosis. Patients with suspected AD may be asked to undergo EVGI or MBO testing, both of which will confirm the diagnosis. Besides, EVGI will also provide results regarding the presence of a retrovirus in the patients' lymph nodes, and MBO testing will provide conclusive proof that the patients carry the retrovirus. The main factor driving the adenovirus diagnostic testing market is the growth of the treatment monitoring and diagnostic sector. For instance, according to Policynet, in 2018 the global healthcare sector generated a revenue of approximately US$ 1.853 trillion. Additionally, the expansion of the healthcare sectors in the emerging economies is expected to propel the market growth of adenovirus diagnostic testing. Laboratory Centrifuge Equipment; Used to Separate Fluids, Gas, or Liquid, Based On Density - 0 views

  •
Laboratory centrifuge equipment is used to separate materials from the liquid medium into which they dissolve, depending on their shape, size, density, and viscosity. It works on the principle of centrifugation. A centrifuge is a device that uses centrifugal force to separate various components of a fluid. It is also used to separate cellular elements such as red blood cell (RBC) and white blood cell (WBC) from a blood sample, remove protein precipitate from analytical sample, separate solid or semisolid precipitant from the analytical sample, and isolate macromolecules such as RNA, DNA, and lipids from the cell. Laboratory centrifuge equipment is widely used to conduct a diversity of laboratory work, and thus, there is a growing demand for reliable, durable, and multifunctional laboratory centrifuge equipment. With increasing diagnostics and research and development activities, the demand for such equipment is also increasing. According to the World Health Organization (WHO), in 2018, noncommunicable diseases (chronic diseases), such as diabetes, cancer, and heart disease, kill around 41 million people each year, equivalent to 71% of all deaths worldwide. Non-transmissible chronic disease is the most pressing health problem in Mexico in recent decades. Role of forensic pathology in medical examination - 0 views

  •
Forensic pathology is the application of clinical medical jurisprudence in forensic medicine. A forensic pathology specialist is a physician who has completed a residency in molecular biology, pathology, and related disciplines and has then specialized in forensic pathology as a post-graduate program. The standards for being a "fully certified" forensic pathology specialist vary from state to state. There are also national accreditation programs that offer associates or bachelor's degrees for forensic pathology specialists. Forensic pathology can be applied to a wide range of situations, such as drug and alcohol abuse, homicide and other crimes, sexual assault, and sexual motivation. Forensic pathology specialists can analyze tissue samples to examine for disease, and they use various methods to determine the cause of death, cause of trauma, etc. For instance, gas chromatography is used in the forensic pathology for analyzing fibers on the body. Moreover it also used to analyze blood found at a crime scene. There are many types of forensic pathology, and each type involves different techniques and terminology. Some examples include: pathology of blood and other bodily fluids; pathology of sexually transmitted diseases; pathology of trauma; pathology of forensic genitourinary and obstetric disorders; pathology of traumatic and infectious diseases; pathology of unidentified remains.
