Turmeric Cream For Face, Dark Spots & Hyperpigmentation - 0 views

  •
Readers and consumers can better evaluate the versatility and multi-fold action of turmeric night cream given as follows: 1. Use It As An Eye Cream Combined with the potent antioxidant vitamin C, turmeric eye cream possesses beneficial properties that can combat dark circles under the eyes effectively. Turmeric's skin lightening and soothing traits can enhance circulation, thereby reducing under-eye puffiness and discoloration caused by inadequate blood flow. Further, its anti-inflammatory features, as well as its ability to lighten skin and increase microcirculation, make turmeric vitamin C eye cream an ideal ingredient in this case. 2. Turmeric Cream for Skin Whitening Turmeric is a sun-drenched tropical spice that has a wide range of skin-friendly benefits. It can help reduce oxidative stress and address skin conditions like dullness and dehydration. Turmeric cream can enhance the skin's radiance thanks to its healing, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory properties that effectively cleanse and revitalize congested, inflamed, or impaired skin. Adding more turmeric to your skincare routine may enhance the skin's microcirculation, resulting in a firmer and more supple complexion. 3. Use Turmeric Cream For Hyperpigmentation Since turmeric inhibits the production of melanin, the utilization of vitamin C can effectively diminish hyperpigmentation. Hyperpigmentation is a skin problem in which some parts of the skin produce excessive melanin, resulting in blemishes such as sunspots, age spots, and melasma. It can possibly emerge in areas where the acne has been treated and healed previously. Turmeric can prevent the production of melanin responsible for dark spots and hyperpigmentation. Applying a product like a turmeric skin cream consistently can help reduce imperfections and provide a smoother, more even complexion.

ABPI:Govt to scrap hike in repayment rate for drugmakers - 0 views

  •
The Association of the British Pharmaceutical Industry (ABPI) on Thursday (February 2) called for the government to scrap its plans to raise the repayment rates for drugmakers, to avoid possible setbacks in the sector. Drugmakers that are part of the government's voluntary scheme agreement, which makes branded medicines affordable for people, are required to pay a part of their drug revenue to the government. The Department of Health and Social Care plans to raise the revenue clawback rate to 27.5 per cent from 24.5 per cent. The country's ongoing attempt to raise rates is likely to send the "worst possible signal" to global investors and boardrooms, said the ABPI. "Hiking these clawbacks to such uncompetitive levels risks undermining the UK's offer to global life sciences companies," Richard Torbett, chief executive of the ABPI, said in a statement. Pharmaceuticals giants AbbVie and Eli Lilly withdrew from the UK's voluntary drug pricing agreement in January after the repayment rates surged to 26.5 per cent.

Sustainable NHS Capital Budgets: Boosting Productivity - 0 views

  •
Health leaders have said that delivering faster and more productive patient care would be difficult unless NHS capital budgets are nearly doubled to at least £14.1 billion from the current spending of £7.7 billion. The NHS Confederation has highlighted the impact that low levels of capital investment have had over the last decade in its report published today (29 November). The report, 'Investing to save: The capital requirement for a more sustainable NHS in England', revealed that the UK has lagged behind other comparable countries in terms of health capital investment for more than five decades, resulting in less productivity. It revealed that the NHS now has the sixth lowest number of CT and MRI scanners per million people of the OECD countries.

Losing Weight Is Not An Easy Task In Comparison To Making Gains - 0 views

  •
Losing weight is not an overnight success and not a magic pill that a heavy-weight person eats and after a few minutes or second that person looks slim fit. Losing Weight Is Not Easy and a very long path that is filled with lots of milestones, difficulties, and circumstances by which every person gets afraid and forgets the dream of losing weight. Gaining weight is very easy but in losing the weight no one will stand for a long time. Losing excessive weight is just like a war in which everyone drops their weapons, the people who will stand for a long time only succeed. You're absolutely right. While both building muscle and losing weight require dedication and effort, the challenges presented by each are vastly different. Here's a deeper dive into why shedding pounds often proves more complex: Psychology: Visible Progress: Muscle growth tends to be more visually apparent, offering tangible motivation and reinforcement. Seeing definition emerge or weights increasing on the bar provides a clear sense of progress. In contrast, weight loss results can be slower and subtler, making it harder to stay motivated, especially on plateaus. Social Pressure: "Bulking" or gaining muscle for aesthetic purposes is often celebrated and encouraged in fitness circles. Conversely, societal pressures around thinness and weight loss can be intense and negatively impact self-esteem, making it harder to stay committed.

Adderall vs Methylphenidate Online - 0 views

  •
Adderall is a trading name for the combination drug that includes 4 types of amphetamine salts (Amphetamine aspartate, dextroamphetamine sulfate, dextroamphetamine saccharate, and amphetamine sulfate). In this, the two main ingredients Amphetamine and dextroamphetamine are the central nervous system stimulants that help to pay attention, stay focused, and control uncontrollable behavioral activities. Both Adderall vs Methylphenidate (commonly known as Ritalin) are stimulant medications prescribed for attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). While they share the same goal of improving focus, attention, and reducing impulsivity, key differences exist in their composition, action, and side effects. Choosing the right one requires understanding these nuances and consulting a healthcare professional. Chemical Composition: Adderall: A brand name for a mixture of amphetamines (amphetamine and dextroamphetamine). These directly stimulate the central nervous system, increasing dopamine and norepinephrine levels. Methylphenidate: Not an amphetamine, but a psychostimulant that works by blocking the reuptake of dopamine and norepinephrine, essentially making them more available in the brain. Side Effects: Adderall: More likely to cause side effects like anxiety, insomnia, decreased appetite, headaches, and heart palpitations. Methylphenidate: More prone to causing side effects like nervousness, stomach upset, tics, and mood swings.

The study also found a strong public willingness to pay higher taxes to enhance NHS services. The Health Foundation and Ipsos UK conducted the research, combining nationwide polling with in-depth public deliberative workshops. These workshops, held in King's Lynn, Leeds, and London, constitute one of the most comprehensive public consultations about the future of the NHS in England. The study published on 16 May underscores the public's desire for a redistribution of NHS resources. Semaglutide 2024 Update : Weight Loss Drug Linked to Rare Eye Condition - 0 views

  •
Amid the rapid rise in semaglutide usage, a study has suggested a potential risk of a rare eye condition associated with the weight loss drug. Semaglutide, a glucagon-like peptide 1 receptor agonist (GLP-1 RA), is available under the brand name Ozempic (by Novo Nordisk) in a lower-dose form for managing type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), and as Wegovy (also by Novo Nordisk) in a higher-dose form for weight management in patients with high body mass indexes. Anecdotal evidence has indicated that semaglutide might be linked to nonarteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (NAION). To investigate this potential connection, researchers in the United States analysed data over a six-year period from nearly 17,000 neuro-ophthalmology patients at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts, all of whom had no prior history of NAION.

DAUK's 10-Point Plan to Enhance UK GP Services and Patient Care - 0 views

  •
At their recent online briefing, DAUK's GP committee outlined a comprehensive 10-point plan designed to relieve pressure on GPs, improve access, reduce mortality rates, lower hospital admissions, and enhance patient satisfaction. DAUK's manifesto advocates reallocating resources, including the Additional Roles Reimbursement Scheme (ARRS), currently directed towards Pharmacy First and acute care hub pilots, amounting to £2 billion. This strategic reallocation aims to enhance primary care capacity and reduce reliance on acute services. Dr Lizzie Toberty, DAUK's GP lead, emphasised the critical need for patients to have timely access to GPs who understand their needs, stating, "We need patients to be able to see a GP who knows them and understands their needs in a timely way wherever possible." She highlighted DAUK's vision to restore general practice as the cornerstone of the NHS through practical, achievable solutions.
