  • Computers for Youth (CFY) distributes working Pentium-level computers to New York City public schools for use within the school building through its Project Enhance Program. New York City public school districts are eligible. School administrators interested in being considered for Project Enhance should email the program. CFY fills requests for donations on a first-come, first-served basis, while also balancing requests to ensure equity among bor­oughs and districts. CFY is best known for its project, Take IT Home NY, that helps improve the educational, social, and economic prospects for low-income students and their families by providing them with home computers and the skills to use them.
