Aamir Khan had to be on medication to keep nausea down for days when the actor was shooting for Dhoom 3’s song, Malang. The song has been shot at a huge height of about 80 feet and Aamir was to rotate 60 times in a minute for the same.Aamir plays the role of a gymnast in Dhoom 3 and this was required. It is the first time the actor will be doing a thing like that. However, the perfectionist that he is, the actor willingly took it up without complaints and wanted to do it just the right way. It took the team about 15 days to complete the shoot of the song and Aamir Khan was on medication for those many days. The medication was to help him keep nausea down. As he was at a huge height, taking turns, it is human to feel nauseated.Also to make sure all is well, the makers of the movie specially called a doctor, who works with gymnasts, to be on the sets to help Aamir. Dhoom 3 is a high on energy song. In terms of scale or budgets it is going to be massive. The song is around the central theme of gymnastic and will have 200 dancers in the frame.Spokesperson of Aamir Khan says, "The song was being shot at about 80 feet from the ground. To do this, Aamir was on special medication to be able to perform at ease without major effects on his health."

Many must have heard that for his upcoming Vishal Bharadwaj’s Haider, actor Shahid Kapoor has agreed to go bald for the film. So talking about it recently actor Shahid said that his decision to do the same was driven by the fact that the look is necessary for his role in the movie.For those unaware, Haider is the adaptation of William Shakespeare's Hamlet. "I thought it is justified. When I read the script, I found it very interesting and I have tried to do something shocking whenever I have worked with Vishal. With him I have always tried to do something different," the actor said at a promotional event of his upcoming release R...Rajkumar on Friday. Meanwhile, at the same time, Shahid confessed that his best performance was in Vishal’s Kaminey, which came out in 2009.  "He is a phenomenal director. He has given me Kaminey. It has been the most appreciated role of my life till now. It's great working with him again. It has been a lot of fun," said Shahid, who stars opposite Shraddha Kapoor in the film.We hope that the film changes things for Shahid, professionally!

Superstar Amitabh Bachchan recently attended annual lecture at the Penguin in New Delhi where he unveiled about the thoughts of his father Mr. Harivansh Ray Bachchan. He said he remains puzzled by his father's habit in his last days of watching Hindi films rather than turning to his greatest companion his beloved books.Bachchan said his father had called him his greatest poetry. “My biggest problem in my life I do not know whether I am a free verse or a couplet, a chaupai or a shloka. I don't know what he saw in the flickering darkness it had to be more than Hindi cinema's excessive poetic justice in three hours! Did he see a flame that burns itself up lighting up the fire of the written word within? We are our own monster an animal of many animal parts.”During the conversation, Big B also confessed that he would try and build a girls’ school. “True equality can only exist if the whole society embraces it,” he said. Bachchan referred to feature films as the great passion of India cutting across all other performing arts and the Indian film industry as absorbing all religions, languages and cultures in it.“The filmy ambrosia's nectar so intoxicating that it has achieved what that no Indian politician has ever done,” said Bachchan before posing the question "In our cinema bad guys always come to no good what about in India itself? “Indian cinema has no nuclear bomb never suffers a recession but people call it is degenerate, trebling, trashy, flashy hocus-focus,” said the actor.

The popular television actress Suhasi Dhami promises her fans to comeback on television dailies in the beginning of next year. She was last appeared in Zee TV’s Housewife Hai Sab Jaanti Hai and was very much appreciated for her performance of modern bahu.She is currently busy doing a play. “I am currently busy with a play named Happily Married but Phir Bhi Doubt Hota Hai.  I am satisfying my urge to do a comic role through this play. It is running good in Mumbai and people are really liking and appreciating our acts. After my stint in the daily soap Housewife Hai Yeh Sab Janti Hai went off air I got engrossed with this play.”About her return to small screen, Suhasi said, “There are always things in the pipeline but it takes a while for things to materialize. It is the same this time too. But well the viewers will get to see me on television next year now as I am heading for a vacation in December.”On her choice of show and character, she added, “See, television is trying to be experimental, but we all know that what work the most on TV is the saas-bahu shows. So it all depends upon the show that I am offered. If I am happy to experiment then I might take roles accordingly or else I would go with the saas-bahu saga. But I would definitely want to try my hand on negative roles.”Suhasi is popular for portraying lead characters in shows like Aek Chabhi Hai Padoss Mein and Yahan Mein Ghar Ghar Kheli.

Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali is quite a task-maker and everyone is well-aware of the fact. His upcoming film is Ram-Leela, which stars actors like Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, and Richa Chadda, who was appreciated for her act in Gangs of Wasseypur and Fukrey.While promoting the film recently, Richa was all praises for her director. ''I learnt a lot from Sanjay Sir. Working with him, I learnt that one must work hard every day, one should be always grounded & have craving for knowledge. One must always be humble in order to grow and become a better person and better actor. One should never let ego clash into one's craft or let petty distractions lose the focus because eventually it will affect your performance,'' says the 24-year old actress.Everyone knows that SLB keeps on losing temperament and even Deepika faced his wrath, however, Richa didn’t become victim of SLB's stringency or temper. ''Fortunately all of my directors have been tough taskmasters....Bhansali sir may be known for his eccentricity and temper but I felt nothing of that sort or came across that side of his. He was, on the contrary, very understanding and loving. He would scream at the whole world except me,'' says Richa. Ram-Leela is all set to release on November 15, 2013.

Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi, who is bagging appreciations for his work in Krrish 3, which has already crossed 200- crore at the box-office, is very happy with the reception the film has garnered. He is also very happy that his father and veteran actor Suresh Oberoi praised his work."My father told me, 'I am very proud of you for being so brave. Being a hero, you accepted the role of a super villain and that too opposite a superhero like Krrish, a favourite in India'," the 37-year-old said in Mumbai on Friday (November 8, 2013) at a special screening of Krrish 3 for children.For those unaware, his father was enthralled with the fact that despite being in negative role, he has performed very well with his face and fingers. In the film, it was Hrithik Roshan, who played the superhero and was seen jumping from buildings and doing all kinds of stunts, while Vivek, as Kaal, was most of the time did his act sitting on the wheel chair. And Suresh praised Vivek for the same.And this, obviously made Vivek very happy. "It felt good because he is a father and when such a talented and senior actor praises you it always feels good," he added.Krrish 3, directed by Rakesh Roshan, also stars Priyanka Chopra and Kangana Ranaut.

Actress-producer Sharon Stone is presently to India where she attended an amfAR fund-raising event. The event was attended by who’s and who’s of Bollywood and she was glad to meet such well-known personalities.Stone was pleased to meet the B-town couple Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, and she found them very generous."Aishwarya had come to Cannes as she is the L'Oreal girl. It is very gracious of her to come here. I am looking forward to see the husband and wife today (Sunday) evening. They are so generous people," Stone told reporters before the event started.For those unaware, Abhishek and Aishwarya hosted the amfAR event on Sunday (November 17, 2013) night. Talking about India, she said that she is in love with the country, and is looking forward to see Taj Mahal. She says, "I love this country, India is beautiful. The youngest, cutest but a non-performer of Bigg Boss house, Pratyusha Banerjee  has been eliminated from the house after a tough vote-out last Saturday. She was in elimination with likes Gauhar Khan, Kamya Punjabi, Tanisha Mukherjee and Ajaz Khan. It was said to be the toughest vote-out of the season, where each contestant was equally important to the show.Talking about the experience on the show, Pratyusha admits that she felt vulnerable and unprotected as one of the inmates. “I was the youngest and I am also a very private person. I connect with very few close friends in real life. Suddenly, I was thrown together with all these people I had never met. Everyone in there was much older than me. It was scary. But it was also a challenge. I’ve come away from the experience much stronger and I’d like to think wiser.”Pratyusha is said to have dropped her popular show Balika Vadhu to participate in Bigg Boss. She added that she have made some good friends in there. “Kamya Punjabi was my best friend in there. I also grew very close to Armaanji (Armaan Kohli), Tanisha Mukherjee and very recently Ajaz Khan who entered Bigg Boss very late. They’re my friends for life.”As for doing another reality show, Pratyusha said, “Not for a very long time. And even if I am offered one, I’d think very carefully before doing it. Right now I only want my old life back.”About some memories in the house, she said, “No one had anything bad to say about me. I’d rather not think about the unpleasant side of the experience. Bigg Boss is the biggest reality-show in India, and perhaps in the world. I went into it on a clean slate. I had completed all my pending assignments and put a closure on personal issues. Once Amitabh Bachchan said in a statement that people in filmdom used to criticise him in his initial stage because of his giraffe length height, but instead of getting disappointed from the comments he fought with the community and proved his mettle to the entire industry.Something similar has experienced by Bollywood actress Nimrat Kaur, who says when she landed in tinsel town, people had different opinions about her look. She had an illiberal experience when a filmmaker advised her to go for a plastic surgery. She said, “When I came into the industry, people had different opinions about how I look. Some told me I was too pretty, others said I wasn't fair enough or tall enough. Nearly seven years ago, I was even advised by a filmmaker to consider plastic surgery. Soon, I stopped thinking about what works.”The actress, who stars in much acclaimed film The Lunchbox, has been now praised for her looks and performance by audience and critics as well. About the success she said, “I am happy with the kind of launch I have got. It is a very exciting time for actors as roles that can surprise them are being written. This was not the case 15 years ago. A film like The Dirty Picture would not have been possible then. Also we, including the audience, are more exposed to world cinema these days. Its effect has seeped into the industry. Filmmakers today have a wider vocabulary.”Way to girl!

If Sylvester Stallone-Arnold Schwarzenegger combination The Expendables 2 was Rowdy Rathore, Trust me Escape Plan is Ra.One and Trimurti of Hollywood. My first question is why this film is directed by Mikael Hafstrom. Mikael Hafstrom is a director who made some commendable Horror/Thrillers such as The Rite (Anthony Hopkins), Shanghai (John Cusack), Derailed and one of my favorite 1408 (John Cusack and Samuel L Jackson). 1408 still scares the hell out of me.Take a close look at the film Escape Plan's trailer and i promise you will know the entire plot of the movie. But a craziest fan of Arnie and Stallone (Like myself, Of course) you would like to watch the two biggest super action (Aging) stars on the screen.Ray Breslin (Sylvester Stallone), an expert of breaking out of federal maximum security prisons who is hoodwinked into testing a new privately run facility for people who should not be allowed out in the real world. In the allegedly escape-proof prison (Which was designed with references from Ray's book), known as The Tomb, he meets Rottmayer (Arnold Schwarzenegger -Appears exactly after 35 minutes of the Film). And together they plot their eventual liberation.Just when you start to feel Escape Plan can become Stallone's 90's Lock Up and Arnie's Terminator 2 (Both fantastic films of the stars respectively),The movie starts becoming easy and ill-logical. The Prison Doctor (Sam Neill) who gets so easily convinced by Ray (In hardly few seconds), and arranges the Helicopter along with Guns etc for their escape. Ray's partner's involvement with Warden Hobbs (Jim Caveizel). And of course the hopeless climax which will definitely make you think what went wrong with Arnie-Stallone's head while coming on board for this movie.Oh? Did i miss the "Muslim" inmate who helps both Arnold and Stallone in their Escape? Gosh! That was so Bollywoodish!Speaking of performances, Stallone is good but handicapped by a bad script. Arnold appears just how Jackie Shroff used to appear in films that were made after 2000. Stallone uses Arnold as a "Chai-Wala' in the whole film and Arnold looked very comfortable doing this part (I am still surprised). Sam Neill is another example of any Kiran Kumar's character from any Bollywood Film. Jim Caveizel is a wonderful talent wasted in this Multi Million dollar "Proposal". Now, Why do i call this one as a "Proposal"? Because, I heard somewhere that Hollywood and Bollywood make such kinds of film to lure the Audiences and fails miserably.Mikael Hafstrom, as I pointed out earlier is good at his Horror/Thriller works. He is not capable in making or executing an action flick which he proves with Escape Plan. The Production Value, Camera Work is good but doesn't help a Bad Script. The Screenplay and Editing is jerky and boring. If you (Still Dare To) see the film, There are lots of unanswered questions.Escape Plan does not even works for its Action, Because it does not have it. I will also not recommend you to rent the film on DVD or Blu Ray because such films are best on the Free Television Premiere which i guess will happen soon. I feel sorry for Heroes such as Arnold Schwarzenegger (Especially) and Sylvester Stallone!

The organisers said these actors had not only taken on the male-dominated film world in the 1980s, but they had also created a special place for themselves.Well, we do know about all of them making Bollywood special for the viewers and fans.
