Saif and I would have loved to buy a bungalow, says Kareena Kapoor! - 0 views

  • Buying property in metro city like Mumbai is not an easy deal to seal. Many successful and rich actors, like Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif and Sonakshi Sinha among many have been house-hunting for a longest time, but in vain. All has been unsuccessful in finding an appropriate property.Bollywood’s one of the richest couples, Saif Ali Khan, the nawab of Pataudi, along with superstar wife Kareena Kapoor always wanted to live in a see-facing bungalow. Recently, the couple has bought four floors in a Bandra building, but Bebo admits, “Saif and I would have loved to build or buy a bungalow. We even looked for one before we settled on our current address. However, there aren't bungalows that met with our taste.”Apart from the couple, there is list of actors who are craving for their own space in the most crowded city of the nation. It is said that Mumbai, whose landscape now resembles Shanghai, is growing vertically and with each passing day, the bungalows are fast disappearing into the metamorphosing skyline.Bollywood style icon Priyanka Chopra is looking for a sea-facing bungalow in the stretch between Bandra and Juhu for almost two years but she hasn’t found any yet. Even Katrina Kaif, who has been recording cash at box-office, got failed to find her dream property. On the other hand, Sonam Kapoor is happy that her father Anil Kapoor is not tempted to raze their bungalow to the ground and bring in a high rise instead, at least just as yet. Shatrughan Sinha’s darling daughter Sonakshi Sinha fails to understand why her parents have demolished their bungalow Ramayan to convert it into a tall building. Salman Khan has reportedly acquired a huge property in the suburbs.

Prabhu Deva signs Scarlett Wilson for an item song in R…Rajkumar! - 0 views

  • If buzz has to be believed, filmmaker Prabhu Deva has roped in London-born Scarlett Wilson for an item song for his upcoming movie R...Rajkumar, which will feature Sonu Sood along with her. The model-turned-actress earlier grooved in item number Imported Kamariya in Emraan Hashmi-Kalki Koechlin starrer Shanghai. She also gyrated to Naagin Naagin song in comedy flick Bajatey Raho. Both songs worked well at music charts and were liked by music buffs. Now, latest report says Scarlett will also shake her leg in Prabhu Deva’s action-thriller R…Rajkumar that features Shahid Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles. If everything goes correct, the film’s villain Sonu Sood will be seen dancing on the item song with Wilson.  Scarlett has shot for a day for the item number. According to the sources, “After the untimely demise of Shrihari, who features in a pivotal role in the movie there is a break in the shoot of the song. Apparently, Shrihari was also a part of the song and shot for it a day before he passed away. Sonu Sood and Scarlett will gyrate when the shooting resumes this Thursday.”Let’s see if Scarlett’s presence will work in favour of the film or not. The film is releasing on December 6.

Escape Plan movie review- Waste of time and money! - 0 views

  • If Sylvester Stallone-Arnold Schwarzenegger combination The Expendables 2 was Rowdy Rathore, Trust me Escape Plan is Ra.One and Trimurti of Hollywood. My first question is why this film is directed by Mikael Hafstrom. Mikael Hafstrom is a director who made some commendable Horror/Thrillers such as The Rite (Anthony Hopkins), Shanghai (John Cusack), Derailed and one of my favorite 1408 (John Cusack and Samuel L Jackson). 1408 still scares the hell out of me.Take a close look at the film Escape Plan's trailer and i promise you will know the entire plot of the movie. But a craziest fan of Arnie and Stallone (Like myself, Of course) you would like to watch the two biggest super action (Aging) stars on the screen.Ray Breslin (Sylvester Stallone), an expert of breaking out of federal maximum security prisons who is hoodwinked into testing a new privately run facility for people who should not be allowed out in the real world. In the allegedly escape-proof prison (Which was designed with references from Ray's book), known as The Tomb, he meets Rottmayer (Arnold Schwarzenegger -Appears exactly after 35 minutes of the Film). And together they plot their eventual liberation.Just when you start to feel Escape Plan can become Stallone's 90's Lock Up and Arnie's Terminator 2 (Both fantastic films of the stars respectively),The movie starts becoming easy and ill-logical. The Prison Doctor (Sam Neill) who gets so easily convinced by Ray (In hardly few seconds), and arranges the Helicopter along with Guns etc for their escape. Ray's partner's involvement with Warden Hobbs (Jim Caveizel). And of course the hopeless climax which will definitely make you think what went wrong with Arnie-Stallone's head while coming on board for this movie.Oh? Did i miss the "Muslim" inmate who helps both Arnold and Stallone in their Escape? Gosh! That was so Bollywoodish!Speaking of performances, Stallone is good but handicapped by a bad script. Arnold appears just how Jackie Shroff used to appear in films that were made after 2000. Stallone uses Arnold as a "Chai-Wala' in the whole film and Arnold looked very comfortable doing this part (I am still surprised). Sam Neill is another example of any Kiran Kumar's character from any Bollywood Film. Jim Caveizel is a wonderful talent wasted in this Multi Million dollar "Proposal". Now, Why do i call this one as a "Proposal"? Because, I heard somewhere that Hollywood and Bollywood make such kinds of film to lure the Audiences and fails miserably.Mikael Hafstrom, as I pointed out earlier is good at his Horror/Thriller works. He is not capable in making or executing an action flick which he proves with Escape Plan. The Production Value, Camera Work is good but doesn't help a Bad Script. The Screenplay and Editing is jerky and boring. If you (Still Dare To) see the film, There are lots of unanswered questions.Escape Plan does not even works for its Action, Because it does not have it. I will also not recommend you to rent the film on DVD or Blu Ray because such films are best on the Free Television Premiere which i guess will happen soon. I feel sorry for Heroes such as Arnold Schwarzenegger (Especially) and Sylvester Stallone!

After giving stupendous performance in his latest release Jannat 2, the star has become the most bankable actor of the tinsel town. Indeed, he is a new trendsetter in the Indian Film Industry as he started a trend of erotica with the prequel of his blockbuster hit, Murder 2.

  •
Abhay Deol is very choosy when it comes to his choice of films. The actor does a few films but makes sure that he gives his best shot and the script too happens to be a strong one.
