Least people know that Gang of Wasseypur fame, Huma Qureshi, is a big fan of bollywood superstar Salman Khan. She admires the Dabangg actor ardently and recently gets the chance to meet him on the sets of Bigg Boss 7. The beautiful actress, along with Madhuri Dixit, visited the TV reality show for the promotions of their upcoming film Dedh Ishqiya.It was weekend ka wow episode and Salman Khan introduced the two beautiful actresses on the sets through a dance performance with each. During the interaction time, shy girl Huma revealed that she is a big fan of Salman Khan. She also went inside the Bigg Boss 7 house and from there she said, “I am a big fan of yours and that is the reason, I watch Bigg Boss.”Huma’s revelation brought smile on Salman’s face and he replied to her by saying, “Arre, aap ne pehle kyu nahi bataya agar bataati toh mere saath yahan hoti.”Huma made her feature-film debut with a supporting role in the 2012 critically acclaimed crime drama Gangs of Wasseypur - Part 1 and Part 2 as Mohsina. Her performance won wide critical acclaim, earning several nominations in the Best Supporting Actress and Best Female Debut category (including the Filmfare). The following year, she was the lead in romantic comedy Luv Shuv Tey Chicken Khurana, a commercial flop; however, her performance was praised by film critics.Her next Dedh Ishqiya is releasing on January 10, 2014.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan is highly disturbed with the damaged caused by Cyclone Phailin in Andhra Pradesh and Odisha, and he has appealed to God to the wellness of people. Going the Twitter way, he posted, “T 1186 -Dear Lord ye #Phailin ko zyaada 'phialne' se rokiye .. daya karen hamaare desh vasiyon par .. surakshit rakkhein un sab ko .. !!” Smile diva Madhuri Dixit-Nene, also posted, “My prayers go out to all the people affected by Cyclone Phailin. May God give them strength to overcome this ordeal.”We hope that the prayers of these celebrities would work in favour of the affected people. Meanwhile, Big B recently celebrated his 71th birthday, and on the big occasion, he went down the memory lane. "It is 71 now. Just last year or just the other day it was 70! The years seem to pass by faster now than they did before," Amitabh posted on his official blog."There was a desire to push the pedal all along those early years, to mature, to become adult, to bring on greater age. Now, you depress the brakes pedal with equal effort, and hope to stem the slide as it were," he added.However, at the same time, he is accepting the years, as he said, "No not I, I accept the years, the giving up on time, on age. It shall happen to us all. That is the commonality of the process of life. We are blessed, all of us."

Numero uno actress Deepika Padukone was lauded in a huge manner for her dance performance in Nagada Sang Dhol from Ram-Leela. However, if given the chance to performance again on the song, she feels it would be almost impossible for her to do it without film’s director Sanjay Leela Bhansali.In fact, the actress feels that the song’s popularity was the least expected of the lot. "There were other songs in the album which we thought would become popular, this was the underdog. In fact, I am doing a show where I am expected to recreate that magic but I don't think I'll be able to do that if I don't have Sanjay to direct," said Deepika.For those unaware, Deepika will be performing at the Temptation Reloaded show in Dubai on Sunday with stars like Shah Rukh Khan and Madhuri Dixit. Recently, she also completed the shooting of Homi Adajania’s directorial English film Finding Fanny Fernandes."It should be ready to release soon," she revealed. "I am also doing Happy New Year with Abhishek Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan, all fun boys to work with. Finally after a lot dilly dallying for almost a year to hold a concert in Dubai, the busiest star of Bollywood Shahrukh Khan has announced his World Tour premiering. Access to All-SRK Live in Concert has been kick started from December 1 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium.SRK along with Madhuri Dixit, Jacqueline Fernandez, Yo Yo Honey Singh, Meiyang Chang, Neeti Mohan and Deepika Padukone have started to enthrall global audience. Before the event Shah Rukh Khan said, “I have wanted to do a big, all-encompassing live show for a long time. It will be a highly interactive experience for the viewers.” Khan is giving UAE fans an opportunity to experience a live concert concept and audiences can request the songs they want the stars to dance to. While shooting his next movie Happy New Year in Dubai, SRK held this second press conference in the span of three days to reveal his tour plans. “The audience can tell us what songs they want to see and hear through audience polls, newspapers, radio events that will start soon. We want it to be interactive, so some people who win events can come backstage and meet the artists and see what goes into making a live show. They will realise it’s not all fun and games and they will have access to some of the excitement that goes on behind the scenes,” he added.Earlier SRK did shows at Australia and New Zealand.

I wanted Deepika to be that.” It is also informed by director that for the look of Deepika, a Gujarati girl, he wanted to keep it as natural to his vision. Minimalistic make-up by Mehera Kolah and an undone light bouffant ensured that the actress looked ethereal. He himself visited Gujarat for Deepika's outfits, which has been designed by Anju Modi. Deepika added, “Apart from the fact that he is one of the most celebrated directors, Sanjay sir has always been known for the way he presents his heroines. So, other than getting to work with him, I was excited about my look in the film. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan is one such actor who has high regard for his female actresses, and it was only few months’ back that he announced that his name would be preceded by his heroine's name in his films. And it started with Deepika Padukone, with whom he starred in Chennai Express.On his part, SRK feels that the decision was no big deal. He was speaking at NDTV-Vedanta's Our Girls, Our Pride fundraising telethon. As a believer in ‘ladies first’, SRK didn’t think that it was that big a gesture. He said, "I don't think it's a huge gesture. When I started out, I had some really wonderful ladies like Madhuri, Juhi and Sridevi helping me out with my work and as the years passed they started giving me star status and it became very embarrassing. So I decided to put my name at the end and the lady's before mine."SRK was speaking to telethon co-hosts Priyanka Chopra and Vikram Chandra via satellite from Dubai. He was also upset with the fact that in India female foeticide still exists. "It is an extremely unfortunate thought process. A child is a child and I don't think any woman or boy is better than the other. Each person has his or her own circumstances and education.
