Hence, while auditioning for the role, which took place at film’s star Shahrukh Khan’s residence Mannat, Deepika was apparently dressed in some bright, tacky clothes in perfect sync with her character. Deepika was so into the character that when SRK's daughter Suhana saw the test shots on Deepika's phone, she apparently asked the actress, "Where are you in this?" Later on, Deepika went on to sweetly explain the little girl that she was in those loud clothes. This in itself speaks that Deepika was so much into the character while auditioning that even SRK’s daughter was in fence on which one Deepika really was among the pictures.Meanwhile, buzz also has that Jaipur court has asked police to register a case against Bollywood director Sanjay Leela Bhansali, actor Ranveer Singh, actress Deepika Padukone and others for allegedly hurting religious sentiments of people in their upcoming movie Ram Leela, a lawyer said.

There have been speculations since sometime around that the estranged couple of B-town, Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh’s daughter Sara Ali Khan is set to join Bollywood. And now the latest buzz has that the teenager already has the permission of her father. But there is a condition that she first completes her education. Saif and Amrita married in 1991, and they share two children - daughter Sara and a son. The couple went separate ways in 2004, and now Saif is happily married to Kareena Kapoor Khan."She is in America in college in Colombia University. She will have a degree and then she is free to choose whatever she wants to do. She can live and work anywhere in the world, she can come back here and join films, or become lawyer. It is upto her," said Saif.The actor-producer also said that her daughter will have his full support if she chooses to become an actress. But he did advice her to lose some weight. "If she chooses to be here then she will have to lose weight. I think it is better to concentrate on education and have some backing. What if you are not successful as an actor? Then you will be stuck with no job also."Though you get lot of things as an actor, there is a lot of pressure. It is not a normal life as you don't have time for the little things in life. I am fine with it but I think college degree is important," he added. At the same time, he revealed that his daughter is his weakness. "She is my friend and my weakness too," he says.And when he comes to fatherly advice, he said, "One should put priorities in the right place. My main thing is that they should go to college and then figure out what they next. The other thing is to marry the right person or not to get married. Superstar Shah Rukh Khan has always been respectable towards women, and he proved it to the world when he ensured that the actress’ name in his movie, came first in the credit roles, and it came true when Deepika Padukone’s name appeared before his name in Chennai Express’ credit roles.And now the actor intends in doing the same in award shows next year. The sources had recently quizzed the actor that he wanted the actress’ name to come first in awards as well, he replied in affirmative.He said, "I think they should do it. I am hosting an award show next year and I will ensure that the best actress award should be saved for the last. It is a nice thing. Hindi films, and films at large, are a little patriarchal. But don't worry. It will change in the next ten years. Women will rule."While speaking to the sources, he revealed that director and good friend R Balki's Tata Tea ad inspired him to put Deepika's name in the beginning of the film. "Balki had made that ad for Tata Tea and I got the idea. Since Chennai Express is our film, I could take the call. We will do the same thing with Farah's Happy New Year," he added.Respect for you!

After Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra is all set to entice the audience with his upcoming film Mirza, which has written by Gulzar. The film will star Harshvardhan Kapoor, son of Anil Kapoor, in the titular role."I found Mirza on the sets of Delhi 6," Mehra says. "I was shooting in Delhi with Sonam, and Harshvardhan just happened to be hanging around. I looked at him, and my gaze stopped. This man has a dramatic presence." Once he saw him, Mehra was all mesmerized, and went to Sonam to ask about his discovery of the day, as he was not aware that she was his sibling. "She giggled. And then she told me that he was her younger brother. At that point, I didn't know that he'd make his way as Mirza, but one thing I knew for sure - I wanted to make him act." He further reveals that after meeting Harshvardhan, they both kept in touch, and then he went on to sign him for Mirza, before the release of Bhaag Milkha Bhaag.The film will be ready only by 2015. As of now Mehra is looking for Sahiban (Mirza's lover). "There's very little time to prepare. With Mirza, I want to explore the intricacies of romance. I want to find my expression of love - which I've never attempted."Way to go!

Telly industry’s one of the beautiful couples, Daljeet Kaur and Shaleen Bhanot, has become mother and father for the first time. They got married on December 9, 2009, and reportedly have delivered a baby boy their first child on November 8. Both, mother and newbie are healthy and will soon get discharge from hospital.Shaleen, who was seen in Sajda Tere Pyaar Mein, said, “We are ecstatic with the addition to our family. It's a feeling that one can't express. Daljeet and our baby are doing absolutely fine and I can't wait to bring them home. I thank everyone who has prayed for us and given us their blessings.”The couple is yet to finalize a name for their little bundle of joy. Interestingly, both Daljeet and Shaleen celebrate their birthday in the same month when their kid has born. They celebrate it on November 15.Daljeet Kaur was last seen in the popular serial called Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon as Anjali Shyam Jha. The couple is very romantic and also won an award for Best Lokpriya Jodi in Star Parivaar Awards. Shaleen is a proprietor of a machining firm.

Veteran actor Sunny Deol has spent three decades in the film industry feels that the current phase in film industry is being strange as nowadays little importance is been given to content, and marketing, on the flip side has become dominant. "Earlier films had content, but these days films lack content. At times people say they didn't like a film, but that film ends up making money. Bahut hi ajeeb daur chal raha hai," says Sunny, who is popular for his act in films like, Ghayal and Damini. It is weird for him to find out that these days publicity has become this key to success. "This is the reality. If you don't talk about your film, you will not get to know about it."Even though he doesn’t like the idea of promoting his films, but he has to do that with his next release is Singh Saab The Great and is also enjoying the process. It was his film itself which inspired him to change, "Change is basically inspired by the tagline of the film - badla nahi badlaav - you have to change yourself."So, I thought why not bring a change in myself first. In today's time, it is important to reach out to the audience. So we have to do promotions. So, why not enjoy the whole process? I thought, let's have fun.
