Nice job highlighting - now summarize what the article is about.
  •
I would have to say that in Lybia right now, there is a pro-democracy movment going on. But, it could turn into the next world war 3. whats happening in iraq is more of a democracy movment because its one country trying to strenthen another country for the better. There are little fights but the main source of power is gone over there. While in Lybia is getting bombed and having some of the worlds largest protests right now. protests will lead to greater tensions between Israeli and Palestinian which will cause a bigger war to break out. But I also believe that it is not the USA's job to get into the middle of the fight right in the beggining. We were not a target and we could have sat backseat for awhile, or at least untill another country stepped in...so we didnt have to be the first ones..again.

The Article is saying that everyone is going into Libya without a full plan, and that the leaders have no idea when they will pull the troops.

Is Obama following the footsteps? is this his war? - 1 views

  •
Theres a video on this article, it really opens your eyes to all of the fights America has been in, while making them sound like its our job to protect the world when we dont even have threats against uss. "It's become an unspoken addendum to the job description: become President of the United States. Declare war - somewhere, somehow. " They give you so many Presidents who have tried to delcare war...it's sad! "There are at least two glaring similarities to point out, when it comes to the use of force by US presidents: none were in response to a military attack, or even threat of an attack on US soil and none have been formally declared wars." Is this why Obama was so quick to jump on the war Bandwagon? hes a demorcrate...he was sapose to be agaist the war..first thing he wanted was to get the soliders out of Iraq, that was two years ago now, soliders are still there and now were goiing to send more to Lybia...Perfect..
