Desde hace unos años los repositorios digitales se han convertido en un tema de mucha importancia y el concepto es del mismo es muy amplio, podríamos definirlo como un depósito o archivo de un sitio web centralizado donde se almacena y mantiene información digital, habitualmente bases de datos o carpetas informáticas. Cualquier contenido digital, una imagen, un documento Word o Excel, un documento digitalizado, un libro electrónico, una página html, etc. forman parte del "repositorio digital" de una organización. Pueden contener los archivos en su servidor o referenciar desde su web al alojamiento originario.

One of my favorite tools to share with students and teachers is Readability . This handy bookmarklet tool scrubs webpages clean of distractions by eliminating the ads and creating a more readable version of digital text. By itself, it's a really useful tool for students, but when combined with Google Docs, it can be an effective and efficient method of taking digital notes.

Google Docs is an online suite of digital tools that provides teachers with some powerful features to help students develop 21st century writing skills. Since Docs are collaborative and available 24/7, the tool is well-suited for facilitating digital writing workshops that combine peer editing with cooperative grouping and small group fine-tuned writing instruction.

Teaching digital literacy, information literacy, citizenship literacy via journalism lessons and resources for 7-12 grade students. I like the combination of writing journalism with the deep thinking skills needed for information fluency.
