Nikki Forova is a Pop singer/songwriter that compares to the likes of Vanessa Carlton, Tori Amos, and Michelle Branch. In October of 2010, Nikki entered and won the MTV Duets contest out of thousands of entries. After a private visit from a representative of MTV, Nikki was flown out to New York for a rare opportunity engagement to perform the song, "A Thousand Miles" with Vanessa Carlton herself and was aired on the MTV television show, "MTV Duets". In 2020, Ashley's mother was diagnosed with systemic scleroderma and passed later that year.
