This article follow 57 students from 4 different middle school over the course of a school year. The students completed work that was both traditional and UDL based. The article is kind of long but I found it to be pretty interesting.

An example of using UDL in sports

Not sure if this is the right link for the title but it was still an interesting read about how the use of video games and other computer based aids can be used to help differentiate instruction for students with special needs. To me having the students achieve similar scores to those without special needs just shows that the learning targets are being met and students are get a equal level of understanding from this way of learning. It doesnt need to be better.

This was a really interesting article which develed further into the questions from the reading in Chapter 6 regarding the argument between differentiating the lesson to reach the same learning target for all or differentiating the learning target instead.

This is a great resource for people that may not have heard of UDL before this (like me). It answers the simple questions like what is UDL and gives ideas for using UDL in real classrooms. This is a great resource, thanks!

I was certainly struck by the idea of addressing with students, how they learn and how they can create good self-regulated work habits. It something I don't ever remember being taught but rather learned through trial and error with what worked for me and what didnt. This resource had some nice simple ideas about how to go about teaching this in your classroom
