Over the years our dance pioneers have achieved the kind of success that many of our chart acts can only dream of. The latest success story is fledgling dance genre Dubstep, which has been steadily growing in stature over the last three years.

Alongside Skrillex's rise, dubstep is becoming pop's buzziest new word. But figuring out what the (hell it means is another (story altogether. "Who gon stop me," from Jay-Z and Kanye West's Watch the Throne, begins with an orbiting, distorted vocal sample, then explodes into a rush of quaking bottom-end and pulsating, chunky mid-range.

It is also where you can follow your favorite DJ's! They love to post questions regarding their music and chat, or even post tour dates and upcoming shows. 12th Planet is one of my favorite DJ's and this is his Facebook page. This will help me in my research because I can follow some of America's DJ's and see their progression to becoming America's new rockstars. This DJ is selling out venues and clubs across the nation and even over seas.

This is Skrillex's Official website. Who is Skrillex you ask? He is one of the leading forces in the DJ movement spreading across the U.S.. He is involved in making house music and of course dubstep, he has became a rapid success in just about a year. Skrillex is now topping charts and filling hearts with the love for this music. Check him out on this website. This will be my main topic of discussion in my research because he is the leader in this movement. He is America's rockstar right now and most of America doesnt even know it. This can help me research and provide details on his success in the US.
