29 April 2014 United Airlines and the Massachusetts Port Authority (Massport) have unveiled a new 10-gate concourse in Boston Logan International Airport's Terminal B, which allows customers to travel more efficiently while enjoying state-of-the-art amenities.

Oslo Airport's Terminal 2, also known as Central Building 2, in Norway, will increase the passenger handling capacity of the airport to 28 million travellers a year. The project was conceptualised in 2007, construction works are 50% completed as of mid-2014 and the new terminal is scheduled to open in April 2017.

The UK's Heathrow Airport recorded revenues of £1.97m, representing an 8.2% increase in the first nine months of 2014, while the US tightened restrictions on passengers travelling from Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea, who can now only enter the country through one of the five airports screening for the disease.
