Tucker Hamilton on 02 Dec 12Iguanodon were large, bulky herbivores. Distinctive features include large thumb spikes, which were possibly used for defence against predators, combined with long prehensile fifth fingers able to forage for food.

jwshwayder on 03 Dec 12Iguenadons were one of the only stable species of its time. I found it very interesting that their self defense mechanism was their large size and the huge thumb spike to injure predators smaller than him.
