This website was helpful and had a graph that howled the times that the extinction happened
  •
The website was very helpful and strait forward plus the dating extinction graph was a good representation of what happened.
  •
This website is very helpful. Did you know that the extinction is now called the Great Dying
  •
Very informative, the graph was very informative.
  •
The graph was really nifty, made you think.
  •
The graph showed what time most of the extinction took place.
  •
It was the first mass extinction of insects .
  •
I never knew the first large extinction of insects was called the great dying.
  •
This has very cool information on the extinction! This will probably be useful in the future
  •
This information was really useful. Wow up to 96% of marine life died during the great dying.
  •
This extinction is the only known mass extinction, or dieing off of insects.
  •
I really did not know that 96% of marine life died. Also 70% of terrestrial vertebrate species were extinct.
  •
I really liked the cool facts that they told me, like how 96% of the marine life died.
  •
This website is very good and definitely relates to what we are talking about in class. It talks about the Great Dying and I rethought the graph was good.

This web sight was was really helpful. I think we mostly covered all of this information in class but gives nice little details.

The Climate Is Rapidly Changing! - 4 views

  •
Over past years, the climate is drastically getting warmer. Four International Science institutions collected data, which has been transfered to a graph. From 1880 up to now, the climate has been getting warmer. But this past decade, appears the warmest. 18 different scientific associations wrote a bit about climate change and their thoughts. Some say that it is clear that rapid change in climate is from humans. Others say it is due to greenhouse gas. I do believe that climate change is partially caused by humans. And even though it may be hard to tell at times, the climate is constantly changing day by day.

Why is the climate changing so much? - 1 views

This websites provides excellent proof of the fact that global warming is real. In the last 650,000 years CO2 levels did not go over 300 ppm. However in recent times the ppm has sky rocketed to 390 ppm. I find it is also frightening that ten of the hottest years occurred in the last 12 years. Coldest records are not being reported as often as they used to be. The top 700 meters of the ocen has rose a frightening .3 degrees Fahrenheit seance 1969. The acidity of the ocean has also risen by 30%. This website backs up my ideas on climate change. I believe and so does NASA that global warming is happening now.

I also found this website and found it very interesting with a graph on the front. There were signs of only seven cycles of glaciers advancing and retreating in the past 650,000 years. Many of the earths satellites can now pick up on the earths changes big or small. The sea level has risen 6.7 inches in ten years and it may double that rate if the glaciers and polar ice caps keep melting.

This website is very detailed, it has a graph and excellent proof of global warming.
  •
This link show you that global warming does make an effect on the earth. It tells you lots of good information. I was surprised that the earth has had its hottest temperatures in the last 12 years! There has been no coldest records in a long time.

How Does Climate Change? - 5 views

  •
This website has a detailed graph as well as a lot of information about how the climate can change. The climate may change in an area of the world that receives a lot of sunlight. In an area that is colder, the climate may change differently. The website also talks about geographical features (like oceans), intensity of solar energy, greenhouse gases, and more.

The affects of climate change - 0 views

This site explains what climate change is and what it does under each individual atmosphere layer including the ozone. The site gives useful information about how climate change effects the planet. I would recommend checking out this site because it gives basic but relatable information to what we have learned in class.

Pangaea Ultimate - 0 views

This is a website that will help people whomight not know exactly what to put inside there science project. This shows a graph of how Pangaea will form into another super continent, such like the one before, but in a different format. This is a Wikipedia website, but even though it is, it holds good information on what the future might hold. Angela East posted this website.
