-
lilaarnold on 26 Nov 12Very informative I did not know that much about tectonic plates, great find.
-
juliadellasalle on 26 Nov 12Some of the major tectonic plates are the North American, African, and Antarctic plates. There are only a few major tectonic plates. There are three different boundaries that are formed when the plates move.
-
willcaulkins on 26 Nov 12Very informative and interesting. I now know a lot more about tectonic plates.
-
hannahfallon on 26 Nov 12This is really interesting to know. I like how it explaines and shows were tectonic plates are
-
maxjack on 26 Nov 12Gives some good information on how tectonic plates change the world's surface.
-
dgosh2312 on 27 Nov 12I never knew that the plates that form the earth's surface is called the lithosphere. That's cool.
-
rachelnobles on 27 Nov 12It's very informative and tells how the tectonic plates affect the Earth's surface.
-
The duct tape queen Mathilde wolf on 27 Nov 12Gives a lot of good info and very interesting.
-
beaubeaubenson on 27 Nov 12It is cool how Mount Everest could be taller tomorrow than today. Good information
-
kohlterry on 27 Nov 12This article explains how the earth is effected by the tectonic plates.
-
Ben Browner on 27 Nov 12Very good information Sam. It is very interesting that Mount Everest gets a tiny bit taller every day. The tectonic plates changes the world surface.
-
samangell on 27 Nov 12This website explains the tectonicplates very well and gives you a better understanding of the earth.
-
taylorstein12 on 27 Nov 12That is very informative! It explains the earth in a better and more interesting way. I learned a lot more about the earth along with some very interesting facts.
-
cj5600 on 27 Nov 12This is very informative. The tectonic plates are moving right under our feet! This website tells you how mountains are formed and how the earth moves.
-
elevine_14 on 27 Nov 12This is very cool information and there are 6 major plates named for each of the continents they are under
-
christophershay on 27 Nov 12The information about the tectonic plates was informative and helped me understand how the 6 plates of the world can create earthquakes and mountains.
-
jolie3 on 27 Nov 12The information is cool because I learned there are 6 major plates named for each continent.
-
nadiasolorio on 30 Nov 12This is about the tectonic plates that shaped our planet. P.S. i like how it is not Wikipedia.
-
evamunroehrlich on 01 Dec 12This is a very informative and descriptive website good job!
-
sydturner12 on 01 Dec 12This is a really cool website. It explains how tectonic plates move and change in detail.
-
katieneal713 on 01 Dec 12This is interesting. It's cool that these plates move around so much. Will the earth become Pangea again one day?
-
Charlie Wallace on 01 Dec 12I really liked this website! I cannot believe that there are also smaller tectonic plates, other than the big ones. I never knew that.
-
Tucker Hamilton on 02 Dec 12The Juan de facu plate is responsible for the volcanoes in the northwest pacific of the United States
-
alexwimer on 02 Dec 12I discovered that the plates make up the Earth's outer shell which is called the lithosphere.
-
benberry on 02 Dec 12Its cool that the 6 major plates are named after 6 continents.
-
williammccormick on 02 Dec 12This is a very good article about plate tectonics. It is a good recourse, and reflects the video we watched in class.
-
Lily Dines on 02 Dec 12Most geologic activity occurs at the edge of the plates.
-
isobelclara on 02 Dec 12This is a detailed article about tectonic plates. I recommend this website because it relates directly to what we were talking about in class.
-
jmacdonald11 on 03 Dec 12This was a very informative website about tectonic plates. It talked about where plates are found and boundaries made by these plates.
-
angelaeast on 03 Dec 12This was a very good article about the movements of tectonic plates. One of the most interesting facts that I had learned from reading the article was that the tectonic plates make up earths outer shell called the lithosphere. There were also many different things that I didn't know about such as that if the plates keep diverging in the Great Rift Valley in Africa, millions of years from now, eastern Africa will split apart from the continent creating a new continent. the three different types of Tectonic Boundaries are called convergent, divergent, and transform.
