This article is about how when Google changed it's privacy rules to target consumers with specific advertisements, people were fighting it. Now that Microsoft has changed their privacy rules to similar ones as Google, people are just letting it happen. I think Google is seen as the bad guy in this situation.

This is a good article. It talks about how we are always on the internet. Is it a drug? This article seems to thing that we are getting too much technology and it is changing the way we act.

I can relate a lot of this article to myself, and my other friends that use technology as often as I do. I think because of technology, our daily lifestyle has been sped up dramatically.

I liked this article because it talks about how we wish for things to be as fast as the internet. As we begin to get addicted to the internet, we get addicted to the speed and its altering our brains.

Apple is at it again. They keep on changing the game. Now they are looking to add even more to the next generation of IPads and IPods. The directions that this company can go in is endless.

Twitter is allowing the people of Saudi Arabia the chance to display their opinions without being persecuted for it.

The fact that Twitter is driving a social revolution within Saudi Arabia is astounding to me. It is a social network and because accounts are private citizens of the monarchy are able to broadcast their opinions without being persecuted for it, it's kind of like an open forum.

Twitter in america is treated like a luxury the same way that water or electricity is taken for granted. We use our social networking to broadcast the type of frape we just ordered even though those tools are used for people to come together against the government. This is an interesting aspect that is much more relevent in other countries than America.

This article is about the new internet explorer having a "do not track me" option. Will losing the ability to see what websites we have visited effect our national security? Won't it be harder to notice suspicious online activity and be able to track that user?

A Article from Directions Magazine that talks mainly about the negatives of having a technology driven society.

My topic is technology and how it is evolving and what type of people should be able to own these new technologies and this is showing us that the new technologies are shaping how our national security strategy is changing due to technology so the new technology that is created will also be needed to have like personal screening or something for the new technology.

This article is basically saying that relationships are being affected by technology. It brings up the point that if we have 1000 friends on Facebook how many of those friends are we actually keeping in contact with. Another point is that the more time we spend on social networking sites the less time we spend socializing face-to-face.

Sometimes Social networking makes it hard for us to understand who our real friends are. I think most of us are past having an exponential amount of friends but we certainly are obsessed with how we project ourselves on the internet. It's hard for us to maintain relationships or meet people online without questioning the realness of it.

My topic is, Is technology making us lazy? This article can relate to my topic because it talks about how relationships are being ruined by social networking. If people are relying on social networking systems to maintain their relationships, that is laziness. These social networking cites are making people lazy because people feel like they do not need to have face to face interactions anymore. Soon, people will be spending their whole day on their laptops and cell phones and will only communicate with people through technology. This will cause people to become lazy.

I was on Ayeshah's blog where she posted the following video: A Vision of Students Today It is indeed something to think about. Too Much Information As the video tells us, we 'browse' through so much information, it is almost impossible to keep up.

I think its true that there is too much information on the internet for us to keep up so we end up spending more and more time on the internet. This relates to my topic since my topic is about how technology can be bad for us and some of the problems it causes.
