I believe this is a very accurate article. Technology has been progressively taking over our lives and it is continuing to get worse. The start of it really shows that this is a true statement. Having these tests shown as examples gives the reader a better understanding of the topic of the article.
I like this article because it talks about how much technology is taking over. What jumped out at me the most was how it said that a study showed that people spend more time on the computer than with there significant other. This can go with my topic that is talking about how communication is changing because of technology and this is one big example for it.
This article is basically saying that relationships are being affected by technology. It brings up the point that if we have 1000 friends on Facebook how many of those friends are we actually keeping in contact with. Another point is that the more time we spend on social networking sites the less time we spend socializing face-to-face.
Sometimes Social networking makes it hard for us to understand who our real friends are. I think most of us are past having an exponential amount of friends but we certainly are obsessed with how we project ourselves on the internet. It's hard for us to maintain relationships or meet people online without questioning the realness of it.
This article describes how much we use technology everyday of our lives. We check our phone when we wake up and beckon to our electronic devices whenever we hear it go off, interupting anything we are doing. We can be reached anywhere, at anytime by anyone.
