HMD Global has launched its latest Nokia 7.1 mid-ranger in India. The key highlights of the phone are its full-HD+ notched display, a dual-rear camera setup with ZEISS optics, mid-level internals, and Android One support. The Nokia 7.1 is priced at ₹ 19,999 and will go on sale starting December 7.

Looking at how the number of cameras on a smartphone and the number of pixels in the sensor are increasing, one can say that in today's smartphone wars, camera is the only battlefield left. And to set a new record, Xiaomi has teased to launch the world's first smartphone with a 48MP camera sensor.

Expanding its product portfolio, Xiaomi has launched Mi Play in China. As the first phone in the Play series, the phone features a waterdrop notched full-HD+ display, gradient design, dual rear-camera, and mid-level internals. Mi Play has been priced at 1,099 yuan or roughly ₹ 11,000.

Facebook has launched its own payments system to enable seamless peer-to-peer transfers and purchases across all its products. The service, dubbed Facebook Pay, isn't a part of the Calibra cryptocurrency wallet or the Libra network but a separate payment system to send real money over the internet.
