Aerospace interior adhesives play an important role in aircraft interior manufacturing. Epoxies, structural acrylics, cyanoacrylates, anaerobics, and adhesive films/tapes are some commonly used as aerospace interior adhesives. They are strong, as well as fire and chemical resistant with superior bond performance and elasticity. Moreover, they help in maintaining the internal quality of the aircraft without any additional load. Therefore, with the increasing number of aircraft worldwide, the demand for aerospace interior adhesives is also increasing rapidly. Aerospace adhesives provide protection of structural fibers, decrease surface preparation time, and provide a barrier for dissimilar materials. But this is not all: laminated films composed of a surfacing film and a conductive metal foil protect the composite structure of aircraft parts from damage caused by lightning strikes. Such adhesives are designed for specific applications.
