Workspace as a service (WaaS) refers to desktop virtualization that organizations use to present their employees with access to business-associated information and data from any place at any time. The employees can use devices of their own choice to access the information. WaaS is becoming more like an actual product line, with new products coming out each quarter. The biggest advantage of Workspace as a service is its flexibility. Vendors can create a wide variety of applications, tailored to meet the needs of their customers. This means that Workspace gives customers more choice than they had in the past when choosing a desktop computing company. Cloud-based data management platform of workspace, codenamed "Cloud Data Management" or "Cloud Platform," makes it easy for companies to move information between various Workspace servers, without requiring a change in Workspace applications.
