This goes with the tutorial I posted before this one, about chopping samples, each video has what each other's missing, they go great together. I do serious research for everything I do, and I don't mind sharing the knowledge one bit.

Download BPM Counter Widget for Mac free. Measure BPM (Beats Per Minute) and taps - widget. Its very helpful to find the BPM/Tempo of any song you want, by tapping it out. Logic's built in auto BPM detector is not accurate most of the time, the best way to find the tempo of any song to me is to tap the BPM out yourself.

Music Radar is one of the most reliable review websites out there, synthopia is not bad either.
