I know we all know this one, but she's changing it up this year! Books are not leveled by age, you pick the book you think fits best. The author study is Peter H. Reynolds, which could be fun too. Not sure I want to purchase 6 of his expensive books! But it might lend nicely to dot day, or kick it off!

This is one part of the Journey North project. Children send and receive a handmade butterfly from a child in Mexico! It's pretty detailed, lots to do.
