One topic I have been pondering a lot is optimal class size for distance learning including what would traditionally be a didactic course, and a seminar. this is important for establishing optimal learning as well as faculty workload. This paper, several years old, presents a mixed model assessment and concludes a seminar group should optimally be 13-15. the literature cited from other sources were helpful as well. Sandi

I've had some of the same questions, Sandi. Thank for the paper. I had to go to library separately because link didn't work for me, but no problem.
