The Molecular Workbench (MW) software:
Is a modeling tool for designing and conducting computational experiments across science.
Provides an authoring system for instructional designers to create
and publish model and simulation-based curriculum materials.
Delivers an interactive learning environment that supports
science inquiry.
Is free and open-source.
The word "Exploriment" is a portmanteau of "Explore" and "Experiment", and combines the sensibilities of both words. The philosophy of Exploriments is to encourage true scientific temper by creating a safety net in which experimentation can progress without fear of failure, spills, expense or mishaps.
An Exploriment is a visual, interactive environment created by a computer program. It is a personal virtual laboratory for Physics, Chemistry and Math learning.
The Molecularium® Project's mission is to expand science literacy and awareness. We aim to excite audiences of all ages to explore and understand the molecular nature of the world around them. We do so through compelling stories, experiential learning and unprecedented visualizations in immersive and interactive media.
The Molecularium® Project is the flagship outreach and education effort of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute's Nanotechnology Center - bringing audiences worldwide into the amazing nanoscale world of atoms and molecules.
