Has anyone had their students complete photo essays using Flickr yet? I have an assignment in my Web 2.0 course where they collect photos about a topic in one of their other online courses and form a visual narrative. They have to create a set, add notes to each photo, and organize a slideshow which tells a story. Some turn out okay, some don't. If you have done this, do you have any hints or suggestions?
I am currently taking an integrating technology course and would love to use this idea in my class. Can you tell me more about your experiences with the photo essays? cory plough wrote: > Has anyone had their students complete photo essays using Flickr yet? I write up a lesson, have them review some material, and then try to use this as a method of demonstrating that they understand the material. I teach them how to use Flickr in the lesson, and teach them about only using their own or creative commons photos to complete the assignment. I would be happy to share the lesson plan with you if you want to send me an email.
