Finding it interesting that the New York Times is taking thanksgiving questions on the hashtag - you have to tweet @nytimesdining with the hashtag #ThanksgivingQs - what an interesting thing. Why not try it?

Hashonomy is an interesting website that lets you figure out related hashtags. For example, here's the hashonomy page for thanksgiving. RElated tags #lovethepie #thebigcheese and #turkeytweet - I'm not quite sure why #bookshakalaka is related but OK.

This survey shows that iPad with the $199 price tag is a 'serious" contender for the ipad. I had someone ask me about Kindle fire vs. iPad. Definitely people are comparing it.  Many people are definitely comparing the ipad to the Kindle fire although the Kindle fire has two issues that don't have anything to do with Amazon: the droid OS and the Droid app store. The droid OS still lacks in touch responsiveness from the reviews I read. The Droid app store is a lot more open but also includes more "junk" and even some privacy and virus laden things from what I hear. Does this matter to the average person who just wants a smaller device and a $199 price tag - we'll see. Tablets are definitely in our future. You can see the redesign of women's pocketbooks reflecting this!

Interesting analysis on why some social games (Zynga in this case study) are having problems online. I think the "friend spam" approach is something for many of us to learn as we join spaces. This is an interesting article for FlatClassroom students to read as they analyze game based activities.

This Harvard Business review article is very much on the money. Who are you and why are you sharing. What is your purpose. If you don't know you'll send mixed signals. IF you do, you and the people who follow you will be more content with the experience.

My students enjoyed interacting with Alan Levine's storybox today. What a fascinating tool and great way for kids to share in the classroom without having to be on the "net." It was a blast.

This app lets you control cad and 3d environments like Google Sketchup. Really, the Ipad is now an interface with your regular computer and it is only beginning. The Maide video is definitely worth a watch and if you do anything with 3D design or CAD, this is worth a look.

Bjork releases an album along with 3D images in an app for the ipad. This is how artists and music are evolving. It is the first of its kind. Interesting. I'm sending this to our Flat Classroom students as they study how technology is impacting arts, entertainment, and leisure. This would make a fascinating video.

Interesting service that pulls together all of your networks and posts to them. Just remember that Facebook and some other services make posts from third party services to lower priority and they don't go on as many streams.Interesting service.
