LAK 14 stands for Learning Analytics and Knowledge (Conference) 2014. This is the fourth year of the conference, and I think a lot of data can come from this site. See the "Live Blogs and Notes" page for more information about the conference via blogs written as it occurred.

A good resource to find other programs and organizations that are attempting to change the learning world. NGL provides grants to programs that use new technology to help students better learn. See the Break Through Model page under "Find" or "Discover's" many links for more information

LACE is a learning analytics project aimed at bringing together various projects from the learning analytics world. It's goal is to allow learning analytics to have a smooth transition of data between companies and programs, allowing for more effective support for students and teachers in the long run. More date may be needed.

In development by Perdue University, the program entitled Signals allows students and teachers to monitor areas of difficulty. It uses a color system that informs the student of how he or she is doing in a subject, and even in a specific topic of a subject. This allows students to realize what they need to focus more on, or where they need help.

This is a link to the OpenEssayist project page. It is a project currently under development in the UK that assists students in writing essays. It examines their paragraphs and gives suggestions for how to write the rest of it. It is currently in use by Open University UK.
