About J's Everyday Fashion Imagine a fashion magazine full of women just like us - moms, college students, professionals, in all shapes and sizes, on a budget and dressing for the challenges of everyday life. There would be no models, no Photoshop, no fancy backdrops, just real women talking real fashion.  I want that magazine to be a reality someday. For now, I bring you J's Everyday Fashion. Not a personal style blog, but the study of one girl's closet. How far can you make a small (couple hundred dollars a month) budget stretch? Do the trends and outfits we see in magazines really hold up in real life? I share it all with you here - the failed attempts, the experiments, the successes, what I wear to events in my own life, but also what I might wear if I were in your shoes (working in an office, being a mom, etc.). This website is all about empowering women - to give them fashion without the frills, that hopefully you can use and apply to your life in a very practical way. And maybe someday… I'll bring you that magazine, too.  :-)

Launched in September 2005, the Oh Joy! blog covers inspiration & design with a focus on Joy's favorite things: design, fashion, and food. The site is updated 1-3 times a day. If the mood strikes, you can also find us on Facebook, Twitter, Currently Obsessed, Instagram, and Pinterest.

Hi, I'm Joanna and welcome to my blog.  I hope you enjoy reading the posts contained therein as much as I enjoyed writing them.  This blog is geared towards anyone interested in writing, the process of writing, occasional musings on fashion, style and life, in general.  Especially that last bit: "life," and all the wonderful, crazy and terrifying things it has to offer.  Being a flâneur is not as "idle" or "lounge-y" as it seems!  In fact, there is no direct translation of flâneur into English.  I like to think that a flâneur is one who is actively engaged in life, even if one is sitting and watching the world go by; an active observer, if you will.  I am a writer and editor by trade and we do have a tendency to notice everything; either we want to write about it because it's intriguing, or we want to correct it :)

Hi, I'm Jillian! I have been crafting since I was born -- as a small child I started out with puffy paints and finger paints and I gradually grew to love all other forms of arts and crafts. I've tried pottery, cartooning, drawing, jewelry design, darkroom photography, digital photography, alt process photography, painting, weaving and many many more... some things have stuck and some have fallen by the wayside. But one thing I know is that I'll never stop creating.

Hi Everyone! Thank you for visiting jenloveskev! This blog has been around since 2006 when Kev and I got married and moved to Hawaii. Over the years it has documents our adventures in married life as we have moved around and gone through some major life changes. Last June I left my High School Art teaching job to get ready to welcome the birth of our first little one. On September 12th 2010, we welcomed our beautiful daughter Rowan Winter into the world. Life changes but I will always love my family, fashion, cooking and art. Jenloveskev is a place where I document that all.

Hello there! My name is Kara Haupt and I Just Might Explode is my personal blog. I live in a tiny apartment in Portland, Oregon with my childhood best friend, Stephanie and our mischievous kitten Pip. Here is a recent family photo… I'm 20 years old. I call myself a blogger, designer, photographer, online shop owner, online art journaling/scrapbooking/photography teacher, etc…  I'm a contributing writer for A Beautiful Mess, an intern at Passionfruit Ads, and online assistant for Indie & Chic. You can read about some of those adventures here. I then changed my mind and decided to take off a semester of school and move to Portland, Oregon with my best friend at the beginning of 2012. I'm a firm believer that evolving and changing your mind and following your dreams is the best way to live.  I currently go to an art school for Communication Design. I have an online shop called Stuff Kara Made. I opened it in November 2011 with my first tee shirt line. I make tees, hand-stitched pullovers, and journals.
