Color Me Nana - 0 views

"My name is Dylana (a.k.a. Nana or Dy) and I am a writer, stylist, and photography enthusiast from sunny Southern California who is now living in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. I also have a blog. Fashion is what makes me wake up in the morning. Writing clears my head and mends my heart. Stories help me sleep at night. I see every single day as a chance to look and feel fabulous. I believe that we should always follow our dreams no matter what and that there is no such thing as reaching too far. This is my little online diary, and I hope you enjoy reading it and coming along for the ride."

Brighter Sides: What's On My Mind, What's On My Feet And Everything In Between - 0 views

  •
I always hate writing the "about me" bits on websites, but I guess it's kind of necessary. My name is Kelsi, you might have already figured that out by now. So, let's see… about me: From 1984-2002 I lived in a small town in Northern California. From 2002-2012 I lived in the beautiful, magical city of Seattle, WA, where I went to cosmetology school and worked as self-employed professional hairstylist for eight years. Now I'm heading to the midwest (Oklahoma City to be precise) to live with one of my best friends for a while and change up my life! If you'd like to read more about the decision, check out this blog post where I announced it all.

J's Everyday Fashion - 0 views

  •
About J's Everyday Fashion Imagine a fashion magazine full of women just like us - moms, college students, professionals, in all shapes and sizes, on a budget and dressing for the challenges of everyday life. There would be no models, no Photoshop, no fancy backdrops, just real women talking real fashion.  I want that magazine to be a reality someday. For now, I bring you J's Everyday Fashion. Not a personal style blog, but the study of one girl's closet. How far can you make a small (couple hundred dollars a month) budget stretch? Do the trends and outfits we see in magazines really hold up in real life? I share it all with you here - the failed attempts, the experiments, the successes, what I wear to events in my own life, but also what I might wear if I were in your shoes (working in an office, being a mom, etc.). This website is all about empowering women - to give them fashion without the frills, that hopefully you can use and apply to your life in a very practical way. And maybe someday… I'll bring you that magazine, too.  :-)

little chief honeybee. - 0 views

  •
I'm Kaelah and this is my little corner of the internets. I am a lover of bulldogs, bubble baths, road trips, dresses with pockets, and adventure. I'm a 24 year old recent college grad with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and I'm living my small business dream. I just opened up a mobile retail shoppe called Honeybean and my heart has never been so full! I bartend on the weekends and design away during the week. I live in a quaint cream colored cottage in East Nashville with my handsome photographer fiance, Mike, and our two fat bulldogs (and a fuzzy cat), and as of February 2012, my sweet little toddler step son. When I'm not perusing the interweb for all things magical you can probably find me at the puppy park or tattoo shop. After two whirlwind summers spent in the art department at BUST magazine in NYC, I am calling Nashville home (until we find our dream home/town to settle down in!).

Lisa Freemont Pages - 0 views

  •
Well, I've gone and done it. I've started a blog. I think I just have too much to say than can be contained in my laughable ten minute limit on youtube. And youtube is probably where you met me. I am the creator of Lisa Freemont Street and no, my name isn't Lisa Freemont. It's Ashley. The channel name is actually a blend of two of my biggest inspirations: Grace Kelly and Vintage Las Vegas. For those of you who are fellow Hitchcock fans, you probably remember Grace's character in Rear Window-Lisa Fremont. Her grace and poise were beautifully portrayed in that film (along w/ the phenomenal Edith Head fashions she wore) but she also had a spunky, adventurous side that I loved. On the other hand, I also have a pension for glitz and kitch, so I had to throw a little 'Fremont Street' into the mix. Yes, I'm aware of the difference in spelling...but when you type in 'Freemont Street' on google, just WHO comes up? See? There's a method to my madness!

I Just Might Explode - 0 views

  •
Hello there! My name is Kara Haupt and I Just Might Explode is my personal blog. In it you'll find a combination of adventures, people who inspire me, school projects, photographs, and confusing DIYS. I live in a tiny apartment in Portland, Oregon with my childhood best friend, Stephanie and our mischievous kitten Pip. Here is a recent family photo… I'm 20 years old. I call myself a blogger, designer, photographer, online shop owner, online art journaling/scrapbooking/photography teacher, etc…  I'm a contributing writer for A Beautiful Mess, an intern at Passionfruit Ads, and online assistant for Indie & Chic. I also pretend to be charming at a retail job a few days a week. Please send me coffee. Back story: I've grew up in Boise, Idaho and then moved to Brooklyn, New York for art school in 2010. You can read about some of those adventures here. I then changed my mind and decided to take off a semester of school and move to Portland, Oregon with my best friend at the beginning of 2012. I'm a firm believer that evolving and changing your mind and following your dreams is the best way to live.  I currently go to an art school for Communication Design. I have an online shop called Stuff Kara Made. I opened it in November 2011 with my first tee shirt line. I make tees, hand-stitched pullovers, and journals.

Honey Kennedy - 0 views

  •
Hello! My name is Jen McCabe. I am a freelance writer, blogger and marketing consultant happily living in beautiful Portland, Oregon. "Honey Kennedy" was my grandmother's nickname when she was growing up in New York. Her charm, wit, class and impeccable style have been constant inspirations for me throughout my life. I get my "fancy gene" from her and my Honey Kennedy blog is my way of honoring our shared romantic disposition and obsessive love for beautiful, timeless design. I think of her every day and wish she was here to share in the excitement with me… and you. I look forward to your comments and please feel free to contact me if you'd like to drop me a line, have me take a look at something you're working on or anything that you think that I'd enjoy. Thanks so much for reading Honey Kennedy! Very Truly, Jen

Hairdresser on Fire | A blog about styling hair, and hair generally - 0 views

  •
Thanks for coming to Hairdresser On Fire! My work has been seen a little on TV, a little in magazines and a lot on my friends. I started this blog after getting a little tired of the same cut/blow dry combo I was doing all day-every day at the salon. The blog gives me more creative freedom by answering hair questions, posting beautiful photos and filming tutorials. I've worked in big and small hair salons in NYC for the last 6 years, and this is my way of spreading hair joy in a more fun way. Straight up high school sleep-over style. Tell your hair I say "Hey" and that it should get excited.
