The owner, Jamie Symmonds, grew up in a small town in Western New York.  In 2001, she grew wings flying off to the city of angels, Los Angeles, where she developed a true appreciation for her sense of fashion and style.  She then decided to head back to New York, the big apple, bringing with her LA's fabulous fashions.  Angel to Apple opened in May of 2006 and has continued to grow and evolve, which includes the launching of our new website, which will offer great fashions to women of all ages, everywhere.

My namesake blog is the story of my life in New York and a document of my personal style. Since starting as a hobby in 2010, my site now has a readership of over 87,000 a month and has featured in publications including Grazia Magazine and style.com.  Having started my fashion career in London, a year's travel sparked a wanderlust which led me to Australia, where I discovered a country teetering on the brink of creative explosion. I now live in New York where I work in social and digital media for luxury fashion brands.

Hello there! My name is Kara Haupt and I Just Might Explode is my personal blog. In it you'll find a combination of adventures, people who inspire me, school projects, photographs, and confusing DIYS. I live in a tiny apartment in Portland, Oregon with my childhood best friend, Stephanie and our mischievous kitten Pip. Here is a recent family photo… I'm 20 years old. I call myself a blogger, designer, photographer, online shop owner, online art journaling/scrapbooking/photography teacher, etc…  I'm a contributing writer for A Beautiful Mess, an intern at Passionfruit Ads, and online assistant for Indie & Chic. I have always adored the exploration of art. Art in the form of language, music, pictures, paintings, fashion. I believe our bodies are a blank canvas, and the hues are the garments we wear. Now I've created a blog where I can share daily language, poetry, musings, and photographs. I created flying a kite in January 2009. Since then, I have gained so much spirit and so much love! In September 2009, I was invited to New York for a fashion blogger conference. It was the most exceptional thing I've ever been a part of.     Also, To my delight(and surprise) I've been featured in magazines, fashion blogs, and wonderful online communities. This blog has cultivated so many friendships, opportunities, and open windows  My heart sings for my supporters, my family, and my spirit. Thank you.

Carrying luggage is the main issue with ladies who either love to travel or have to travel because of their professional engagements. Women have the tendency to load their travel bags much more their capacity and carry a lot of stuff from home and because of being shopaholics they come back with even more than they carried to the trip.
