Fatty Unbound - 0 views

  •
I am a fat positive fashion blogger and excessive dresser located in Yorkshire, UK. An avid vintage enthusiast and DIY seamstress with a love for all things thrifted, handmade or on a sale rail, she set up her blog Fatty Unbound in 2009, after becoming frustrated with the lack of budget friendly, body positive, and politically conscious fat fashion blogs. With her blog, she aims to challenge bodily hierarchies and notions of privilege within mainstream fashion circles through a mixture of outfits, strategies, craft tutorials and personal histories, all designed to normalise fat bodies and celebrate body diversity in fashion and beyond.

Bow Ties and the 10 Men Who Made Them Famous - 0 views

  •
So whatever happened with bowties? It's almost as if this trademark of highbrow society became a facetious accessory reserved for the stock boys and poindexters of the world. But nowadays, the bowtie is roaring back, thanks to the likes of Justin Timberlake, Carmelo Anthony, and NFL star safety Malcolm Jenkins. These contemporary icons appreciate the vintage appeal of the bowtie, and their great sense of style is homage to the men who made bowties famous in the first place.

My Thrifted Closet - 1 views

  •
Welcome to "My Thrifted Closet." I am SheRea DelSol, but you can call me SheDel. I am a self-proclaimed thriftshionista (Thrift Fashionista.) I hail from the beautiful St. Thomas, US Virgin Islands, but I currently live in Winston-Salem, NC where my love of thrifting began. My style has drastically changed since my high school days and most of the clothes in my closet have been replaced by thrifting in mostly Goodwill or MegaThrift (a thrift store indigenous to Winston Salem, North Carolina.) Thrifting has helped to develop my love of vintage clothes (especially the 80's) with their large shoulder pads and puffy sleeves. I also FULLY embrace bright colors and bold prints. For those of you who don't know, thrifting is the act of purchasing items from  stores that sell items that have been donated, with the proceeds from sales usually benefiting charitable efforts (eHow). Thrifting is more than just a hobby, quite frankly it is not. Thrifting is a lifestyle choice, a fashion movement. In that spirit, I have dedicated this blog and my fashion journey to thrifting. This is "My Thrifted Closet" and I hope you too discover the thriftshionista in you.

Western Wear Clothing Closet Must-haves | CowboyKicks - 0 views

  • Western wear jeans are not too different than the normal pair of jeans that women wear.
  • Vintage belt buckles are also part of Western wear closet must-haves because they not only draw attention the jeans, but also give the outfit extra appeal.
  • Men’s Western wear clothing ensembles are a bit easier to put together and have a classic appeal.
  • ...3 more annotations...
  • Cowboy hats, on the other hand, are more noticeable but are not just ornamental.
  • Western wear clothing is continuously evolving with different levels of popularity. The nice thing about  them is they continue to work their way into casual wear, as long as you know how to mix and match different
  • outfits.
