Welcome to my blog, Hopeless Notebook. I started my blog on January 1st, 2012 when I noticed that a friend of mine had started her own blog. Her blog was so adorable and fun, and I knew I could come up with something equally as fantastic, thus Hopeless Notebook was born!      Hopeless Notebook is a lot of things : a fashion blog, a lifestyle blog, a place for pictures, DIYs, inspiration, and everything in-between. Sometimes there will be silly, happy stories, sometimes there will be sad ones, and other times there will be lots of whining, but this blog will always be 100% truthfully me. ♥♥♥      As for me, I'm a college girl trying to make her silly, outlandish dreams come true. I currently live in sunny Florida, but as soon as college is said and done, I'll be packing up with my mister and moving far, far away. We'll be moving to North Carolina where I plan on opening up my own dress boutique, and possibly doing a bit of graphic design work on the side.      My mister's name is Garrett, and we've been together since our freshman year of high school. We're crazy about each other ♥ but mostly we're just crazy.

This blog is a sort of outfit diary. I wear a UK size 16/18, which makes my blogging of everyday fashion different from the type of fashion-blogs or outfit-of-the-day-blogs vastly covered in the media and other blogs. However, there are a lot more [insert adjective of your choice describing an overweight person] women out there on the net doing just that: showing the world what they wear and how they make fashion work for them.

Our buyers are racking in those frequent flier miles & trekking around the world to personally handpicked all our pieces so that we have new arrivals every day. They're literally buying year-round, every season! The fashion world is ever-changing so to keep our fans up-to-date, we launched our blog. We wanted to create an inspirational outlet for our fans to stay in-the-know with styling tips & tricks, upcoming trends, & our latest promotions. Since this is our home away from home, you'll get a behind the scenes glimpse (hence our blog name) on all the backend work put into producing our fabulous website & the looks throughout our boutique. Phoebe emerged as an 18-year-old from Northcote High School determined to become a fashion journalist. She completed a fine-arts degree, ran her own fashion accessories label, spent some time in the design arts in London working with Jean Pierre Braganza and Lara Bohinc. She then went on to a postgraduate degree in journalism at RMIT to round out her training.

My name is Darby. I am a  wife and the mother of three young children and this is my blog. I love old houses, photography, renovating, interior design, sewing, flea markets, cooking,  baking, Diet Coke, Twizzlers, and eating dinner outside. I have a twin sister, whom I love living not too far from. She is an extremely talented designer and blogs HERE. Just a little reminder: this a blog, not a real life account, but merely a tiny glimpse into our lives. We don't sit around craft, bake and smile for pictures all day long. We do strive to glorify God but fail miserably and recognize our deep need of a Savior. What comfort we find in knowing that our debts have been paid and we have been set free. Now I've created a blog where I can share daily language, poetry, musings, and photographs. I created flying a kite in January 2009. Since then, I have gained so much spirit and so much love! In September 2009, I was invited to New York for a fashion blogger conference. It was the most exceptional thing I've ever been a part of.     Also, To my delight(and surprise) I've been featured in magazines, fashion blogs, and wonderful online communities. This blog has cultivated so many friendships, opportunities, and open windows  My heart sings for my supporters, my family, and my spirit. Thank you.

I'm just a girl working at a desk by day & living in a dream world by night. In 2008, I moved back to my hometown to begin a new job in the corporate world. For the better part of 2 years I struggled to mesh my personal style with that of the "real world". Bonjour! Je m'appelle Lindsey. I speak French, although not very well. I love tutus, in case you hadn't noticed from the blog title. Actually, pretty much anything with tulle will set my heart racing. I also have a deep and abiding affinity for glitter, sequins, sparkles and florals. I'm 18, and in less than 6 months I'm moving to the "big city" for university, and I could not be more excited!
