Hello there! My name is Kara Haupt and I Just Might Explode is my personal blog. In it you'll find a combination of adventures, people who inspire me, school projects, photographs, and confusing DIYS. I live in a tiny apartment in Portland, Oregon with my childhood best friend, Stephanie and our mischievous kitten Pip. Here is a recent family photo… I'm 20 years old. I call myself a blogger, designer, photographer, online shop owner, online art journaling/scrapbooking/photography teacher, etc…  I'm a contributing writer for A Beautiful Mess, an intern at Passionfruit Ads, and online assistant for Indie & Chic. I also pretend to be charming at a retail job a few days a week. Please send me coffee. Back story: I've grew up in Boise, Idaho and then moved to Brooklyn, New York for art school in 2010. You can read about some of those adventures here. I then changed my mind and decided to take off a semester of school and move to Portland, Oregon with my best friend at the beginning of 2012. I'm a firm believer that evolving and changing your mind and following your dreams is the best way to live.  I currently go to an art school for Communication Design. I have an online shop called Stuff Kara Made. I opened it in November 2011 with my first tee shirt line. I make tees, hand-stitched pullovers, and journals.

I always hate writing the "about me" bits on websites, but I guess it's kind of necessary. My name is Kelsi, you might have already figured that out by now. So, let's see… about me: From 1984-2002 I lived in a small town in Northern California. From 2002-2012 I lived in the beautiful, magical city of Seattle, WA, where I went to cosmetology school and worked as self-employed professional hairstylist for eight years. Now I'm heading to the midwest (Oklahoma City to be precise) to live with one of my best friends for a while and change up my life! Hi Everyone! Thank you for visiting jenloveskev! This blog has been around since 2006 when Kev and I got married and moved to Hawaii. Welcome to my blog, Hopeless Notebook. I started my blog on January 1st, 2012 when I noticed that a friend of mine had started her own blog. Her blog was so adorable and fun, and I knew I could come up with something equally as fantastic, thus Hopeless Notebook was born!      Hopeless Notebook is a lot of things : a fashion blog, a lifestyle blog, a place for pictures, DIYs, inspiration, and everything in-between. Thanks for coming to Hairdresser On Fire! My work has been seen a little on TV, a little in magazines and a lot on my friends. I started this blog after getting a little tired of the same cut/blow dry combo I was doing all day-every day at the salon. The blog gives me more creative freedom by answering hair questions, posting beautiful photos and filming tutorials. I'm an 18 year old from a small Chicago suburb, but I will be spending my next few years at school in Boston. I love vintage clothes, collect old cameras, and thrift way too much. I came to love vintage clothes at a very young age when I stumbled across some old photos of my great grandmother and aunt (Grace and Viola).
