I'm just a girl working at a desk by day & living in a dream world by night. In 2008, I moved back to my hometown to begin a new job in the corporate world. For the better part of 2 years I struggled to mesh my personal style with that of the "real world". Born out of my love for style blogs and a little self-motiviation to assemble fun and fresh office appropriate outfits, 26 and Counting was created. While I may not be 26 anymore, this little corner of the blog world, my contribution focuses on inventive everyday fashion for professionals who may {on occassion} find themselves feeling a little creatively constricted by their corporate environments.

I've lived most of my life in Philadelphia but live in Los Angeles right now with my husband and cat with a little one on the way. Living in the Midlands of England, I get to live on the edge of the lovely countryside whilst being able to hop on a train to cities such as London, Birmingham and Manchester. I started this blog in July 2009 as a general expression of all things 'me' but I soon found it taking a fashion and style direction. I'm a major art geek and hope to make a career selling my paintings and taking portrait commissions. I'm a little obsessed with hydrangeas, The Phantom of the Opera and Hello Kitty. I adore my cute little guinea pigs: Vuitton and Dior. I'd say icing is my favourite food, accompanied by buttercream and perhaps a little cake, and I have an addiction to collecting craft supplies such as ribbons and sparkly gems. I was a columnist at British Style Bloggers from September 2009 to March 2012 and was an editor of the Links à la Mode for Independent Fashion Bloggers from July 2010 to February 2011. I started Florrie's Art Spot in June 2011 as a separate blogging project on Tumblr.

Thanks for coming to Hairdresser On Fire! My work has been seen a little on TV, a little in magazines and a lot on my friends. I started this blog after getting a little tired of the same cut/blow dry combo I was doing all day-every day at the salon. The blog gives me more creative freedom by answering hair questions, posting beautiful photos and filming tutorials. I've worked in big and small hair salons in NYC for the last 6 years, and this is my way of spreading hair joy in a more fun way. Straight up high school sleep-over style. Tell your hair I say "Hey" and that it should get excited.

I'm Kaelah and this is my little corner of the internets. I am a lover of bulldogs, bubble baths, road trips, dresses with pockets, and adventure. I'm a 24 year old recent college grad with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and I'm living my small business dream. I just opened up a mobile retail shoppe called Honeybean and my heart has never been so full! I bartend on the weekends and design away during the week. I live in a quaint cream colored cottage in East Nashville with my handsome photographer fiance, Mike, and our two fat bulldogs (and a fuzzy cat), and as of February 2012, my sweet little toddler step son. When I'm not perusing the interweb for all things magical you can probably find me at the puppy park or tattoo shop. After two whirlwind summers spent in the art department at BUST magazine in NYC, I am calling Nashville home (until we find our dream home/town to settle down in!).
